I wondered about EU as well , the website link is for the Turbine account page so I doubt EU players will be able to enter the key ..... *sigh*

Lots of Euros are playing on NA/Oceanic servers and saving money in the process.  If you can read/write English you're all set.

I failt to see the point of announcing a Bonus Free Item code for LOTRO players who are members of MMORPG's site if only the US half can get it.. once again we Europeans are excluded from another "For the Star Spangled Banner" bunch only 

How about talking to Codemasters and asking them to honor the same deal for us too?

I am Euro and I am playing on the US servers. It was cheaper at that time.
So yeah, it means I could use this offer, yay! *goes check it out in the game*

MMORPG.com give my my LOTRO news quicker than I get it through any other channel.

Viewed in terms of saving me time: yay.

MMORPG.com telling me that as a player of LOTRO I can get gift X and omitting to tell me that it only applies to Turbine's direct customers and not customers of Codemasters -- COSTING me an hour of my life -- just makes it all not worthwhile.

There are more negative comments on this topic than positive ones.

But just before I finish I'd like to see that Turbine shares the blame too.  They're the ones that told me they were sending me a new password to my account's registered email address instead of just saying that I didn't have an account, as was evidently the case.

I just signed up for an account here so I could get the hauberk. Went through all the steps without a hitch (I'm in North America), but my question is: how do I actually get the hauberk? Will it just magically appear in my inventory?
