to me Stars Wars is a Space Fantasy/ Sci-Fi.

Hmm it is an interesting debate.  I suppose I see it from both sides.  I guess when I think of fantasy I think of magic, swords, and castles not ray guns, jetpacks, and speeders; with that said, I'd go with Sci-Fi.  Of course the debate on the jedi/sith make it arguable with their "jedi powers" but I don't consider that magic really. 

Either way I'd prefer to see a larger Sci-Fi influence in the game, I'm burned out on fantasy.

Everything about star wars is fantasy, none of the concepts in star wars are real. One could call it sci-fi but it could also be called fantasy.

Also, who cares what they label it, its just a label.

Perhaps cause Star wars happened "A LONG TIME AGO" , so thinking a long time ago is usually fantacy era, whereas " Far into the Future" seems more scifish?

Its half Sci-Fi and half Fantasy. Lasers planets destroyers and Lightsabers are all Sci-Fi...but how are they not ALSO Fantasy?
