This economic crap and Obama as president all points to the end of the middle-class.  And no guys they aren't going to bump us up a notch.  Have fun.  Your only option is to join the welfare wagon and become a loser because ingenuity, risk, independence, knowledge and hard work will NOT be rewarded.

Your post is only as good as your source of information -

Obama's plan is to give tax incentives to household under $200k

and he was planning tax breaks for household under $250k

Those are some lovely parting gift for your dear departed Middle class.

Unless I'm mistaken about where middle class is, I don't see how middle class would end under either candidate.

The Bush administation is the reason why we have been losing our middle class.  Obama will bring quality of life and decent jobs back to the United States that have otherwise been sent over to India and other countries.

No but see, Republicans want to continue the trend of shipping jobs overseas, why should there be more jobs in America, it's un-American and we don't want those jobs. xD /kidding

Oh he will will he? LOL! why would anyone want to start a business here when they will have to pay higher income taxes, capital gains taxes and higher minimum wage than going elsewhere? No, sadly because of his policies we will be losing quite a bit more jobs to other countries, and unemployement will increase at a skyrocketed rate. You are mistaken if you think " business incentives" have any thing to do with owning a business, it is all about  how much profit you get to keep... and In the US under Obama's plan that isn;t much

The essence of what you are saying is correct under certain circumstances.  Unfortunately our country is in a horrible economic situation because bussinesses have already moved out of the country and the wages are horrible.  If what was going on was working do you think we would be in such a horrible economic situation that required over 900 billion to bailout(including pork) just as was in the Regan era when a 500 billion bailout was needed?  We need to put people back to work again like FDR did and that is what I am hoping Obama will do.  Right now our country is in a horrible situation and our Middle class has shrunk more in the past 8 years since the Regan era.  Everything in this country has been getting torn down.  It is time to run a presidency off of more than just fear.

still waiting for someone to explain how his initiatives wil bring jobs here.

Higher taxes when we are already the 2nd highest taxes for business in the world.

new environmental means it wil cost more to do same things we are doing now , or more to build new stuff.

No more capital gains tax breaks meaning there is no point selling a business , just closing it to allow  the loss to offset owed taxes.

No more family run thnigs passing from father to son for same reason.

Bush tax cuts expire meaning everything will cost more ( so yeah you get a 300$ tax brak but everything will cost more)

More Government regulation , Obama wants the govt to control everything , I didnt start a business to have it become a state run enterprise.

Why would anyone want to build a new thing in the US? , want to expand what they have here ? when it is NOW cheaper and more efficient to do it elsewhere before all this kicks in?

Yeah we a few people will have more money quantity wise thats worth alot less, so your buying power is going to be alot lower than now, so yeah you might spend more but get less  might incnrease demand or business , but then again its just as easy to run the business you buy things from in mexico or canada than it is to run it here.

we are building our new facility in TX even tho it was cheaper to do in Mexico ( right now). BUT if Obama passes these laws by the time we start building in 2-3 years its going to cost more FORCING me to do it elsewhere.

So how does it create jobs?

Where?

Who is going to offer those jobs?

You are mistaken if you think that the president was responsible for this mess we are in, he has veto power, he does not make the laws. NO, our congress does that, our congress ( which has been democrat majority)  has been corrupt and profited from this mess. If you want to really solve problems lets start by booting all politicians that have profited from the bailout. Take a close look at their financial records on both sides of the table and boot them. then bring them up on charges.

Marcy Kaptur ( democrat) was right there is insider trading going on amongst "her friends" in congress and she should be heard.  First on the "boot " list Pelosi with 500,000 inveseted in AIG, Kennedy with 2m in AIG, and all of those who tried to stop regulation on freddie and fannie. YUP KICK EM TO THE CURB. Don't try to pin this on Bush , when it was these people who made this mess, both republicans and democrats who are making money off these people backing them.

I think a thorough investgation needs to be made, and a house cleaning needs to take place on both sides of the table here.  WHy did Pelosi refuse the Impeachment of Bush? Who are they going to blame if they have a majority in congress and the presidency?  It makes me sick when I actually look at what these people have passed in their time in office...

I love how deviliscious keeps telling people they are wrong, but when you check the facts it seem she is wrong and it's all just her oppinion. Who spent all the surplus? xD It was Bush

Anyways Bush fucked up, even he knows this. After he is out of office you are gonna see an interview done on a prime time news show were he admits his mistakes. There was a reason why his advisers bailed on him, thought we all know he was misinformed on a lot of things by his advisers. So don't be surprised if he points the finger at a few them, and rightly so. And here is something some of you may not know, he's voting for Obama.

Facts?.. I have already posted many facts from military times, to washington times .. but they are always blown off.   I have shown facts on where this all went wrong, I have shown facts on Pelosi and kennedy's financial records, If you want to see them you are going to have to find the threads yourself since we have already had this discussion months ago .. the links are pages back lol.   It is easy to blame one person than all the people responsible for this mess.  I am not a fan of Bush either ..  I did not vote for him. I am not a republican I actually handed out "no more Bush stickers!" But I am not blind to the fact that Pelosi and many others in congress are corrupt as hell. oh and you are going to argue with Marcy Kaptur as well? LOL!

Some of you will believe any 'snow job' you're given. I got news for you... both of these guys are politicians and they are going to tell you what ever they think you want to hear to get your vote. You know what will come of it? No matter who gets elected it will be business as usual for another 4 years and nothing will really change. These guys can promise you the Moon but actually making any of it happen in the stagnant cesspool that is Washington DC is another story all together. If you think Obama is going to be your savior you have a huge disappointment in store for you. I think I may actually vote for Cobra Commander... Now that's a guy who could really change things.  ][_, {()} ][_,

actually Obama has a shot of getting something's he wants done , he is sitting in perfect position to have a trifecta of Democrats with no way to stop policy. no mater what anyone outside the hill wants or says.

If he gets the seats in  Senate and house + his bias means they actually have a decent shot at passing things he wants.
