MapleStory is really a great game. But grinding. You have to find good monsters to hunt for, and it depends on your level and your current job. E.G. Warriors lvls 10-15 are good in the Slime Tree.

The boss monsters, even the new ones recently added (there's now a slime boss monster) are really great. Spawning time is unexpected, and it's still great.

But still. The grinding. They waste real money just to look good in the Cash Shop. Though the pet system is good, too.

All in all, I'd rate it 7/10. Because of the low experience, and you dying (if you're not a Beginner/Perma Beginner) just makes it worse. Better than losing most of your items. *stares at RuneScape*

this may seem dumb to all the maplestory players but i just quit when doing the tutorial, reason: not being able to change the movement keys.. i mean cmon! just arrows? at least give an option to allocate them to the WASD keys. pnc or wasd are fine for me, but daamn i just couldnt get used to those arrows. so i quit, lol

I think I quit right after the tutorial mainly because all there really was mashing one button to kill monster after monster.

I was going to go back and try it, but I forgot my pin number or whatever it is that you have to enter to log in, so I said screw it.

 imo it is too much of a grind game, i used to play it never made it further than 39 cleric because i hate grinding or in MS the screaming for a party because party quests are so much more and faster experience. 

the start is more for little kids (killing snails making this weird noise). but the end game is killing big bosses but to get there you have to play years (yea years).

the dying system is better than Runescape's yeah, but on higher levels it can take away all the work grinding that you did for hours....

anyway, this game made me have alot of fun, i'll rate it 6,5/10

Actually i think this game is meant for loooooooonnnnngg time.

Not other mmo's that all things go fast like, lvl, quest, change job.

But what really pisses me off is the quest for the 1000 monsters.

damn i really hate it, then they will reward you a 10 white pots.

which is really a big NO NO. . . 

This game is so addictive. 10/10. Thats all i will say..I mean sure it can be annoying when you get crappy items after completing quests, but i think alot of people take things for granted these days, just work with what you get and you may enjoy the game.

I would totaly agree with MisaTange on your review of MS. Especialy when it comes to people going overboard and spending tons of money just to look good in game. I would however give MS a 8/10-8.5/10.
