Got my key, thank you!

Using fileplanet sucks to download the client.  It "estimated" my waiting time to even start the download at 30 minutes and its been over an hour.  First strike against the games distribution methods.

Ok mirage, one problem. Registered on the site and got the confirmation e-mail alright. However, when I confirm my e-mail address i get the message:

"Invalid confirmation key, the key you have provided has either already been used or has expired."

Yeah Neyon, we're still trying to figure out why you have such error message, but you shouldn't worry, your account is really activated and working.

You can discard this error message. :)

yeah it all seems to work ok. Even so, I sent and e-mail to support as instructed in the e-mail.

I'm onto 12 mins until I can download now. Sure, its a bit annoying but after waiting several days it really isn't that much of a problem.

Ah yes, I finally got my key! 

I'm going to communicate ALL the things under NDA.

:D btw was going to ask do I need to download any bug finding programs as such. I'm not an experienced beta tester but i'll gladly do my fair share if you can direct me to somewhere that tells me what to do / has the programs I need.

First; thanks for key Mirage. A nice thing to come home to

secondly; Anyone else having problems with creating an account? After I finish typing my info and press next, the page just flips me to step 1 again, with no error or why-message...

I have searched the forum pages, but I guess the remedy is in beta forum   Anyone have any ideas?

Edit: It workled out, no clue how though :)

I enterd the contestfor beta keys and did not win does anyone know of any other way to get one or is it a lost cause untill open beta? any help is appreciated I Really want to try this game.

Supposedly, we are coming up on open beta here pretty quickly. Hopefully soon :)

Try contacting Support via the email address given in the email you received with your Beta Key :)

I just got my key this morning so all of those who are still waiting don't worry yours will be there soon if not already. Downloading the client now while im going to play some Fallout 3.  Cya guys in game and don't do anything I wouldn't do.

I created an account with my key and am now waiting for the activation email >_<

My GOD no! The lights are flickering! Why are they flickering! If I have wasted 9 hours of download time because of a powercut I am going to kill something.

When i click the link in my validation email it says my key has already been used. Phail :(

Um wow ok it WORKS but it says it was invalid :P

9 hours.. wow.  Are you using the maximum capacity of your broadband?  If not I can recomment a download manager that should help.

COME ON!!! I do NOT beleive this. Out of my 11 hours download - there was 20 minutes when there had to be a little one second powercut. Now the download is gone and I have to start again - yaaaaaaay!!!

And no it is not my internet that is making it slow it is the pathetic filehosting site that is fileplanet.

You can resume fileplanet downloads.
