EverQuest hands down. Best MMO experience I ever had the opportunity to experience for years and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Pre-CU SWG, no question about it. The sad thing is that I didn't realize it at the time, and it took wow to make me realize how much better SWG was then anything else out there. Now, the true SWG is gone, and all we're left with is wow clones (or eq clones if you want to be anal about it).
Imagine how spectacular SWG would be if in the past four years the developers focused on improving the core game rather then turning it into SW-WOW. |

Best..well I have 3 favorites.. Ultima Online..launch night was classic..getting killed by a pig because someone told me to go attack it. Being a thief and snooping someones backpack for Runes..and the excitement when those runes led right into a guilds keep and you could just steal everything! Your adrenaline was racing and you were hoping someone didnt come home..and if they did you had to hide so they wouldnt see ya. Oh..and cant forget...poisoned arrows...running through YEW and some Dreadlord was hitting you with arrows and spells...nightmare! Everquest 1: Classic, Hard and loved every minute..or hour...or day camping some drop
Dark Age of Camelot: Simply put..the best RVR EVER..I was a ranger in the early days and WOW...sorry WAR..I enjoy WAR but has nothing on DAOC |

I had the most fun playing wow. I had the least fun playing Ryzom, although I heard it takes a while to get use to.

Your fist MMO is always the bestus MMO evar. UO, EQ, it doesn't matter as long as it was your first. For millions today, WoW is their first MMO. |

WoW, easily. i hope another takes its place some day, but with each new game i try (new or old) i feel the chances become less and less likely i'll ever find it. |

I've played many mmos and i think WoW is currently the best. I'm waiting for Aion's release. |
