Now this is a post i do not understand? If you are a pre order? A beta tester? Or just some tard going after the free time? Please, whats your hickup?
If you did preorder, you do care about the game, and would report any bugs you find troublesome. And if they care to fix it, be happy, and take the down time of the servers.....
If you are a beta tester, read above.
if you are a tard beeing stupid, and just wanna PLAY the game, untill the free time is over, you do so, silently, and dont whine untill you actually buy the game for the retail price! Now, stop be a youngster just out of your diaper, and play the game! Report all bugs, so they finally can make the game better, and better with each patch! HELP the developers, instead of just screw around with another game to spoil! |

You are soooo critical of WAR and are not willing to look past what you percieve as faults, but you are willing to do that for WoW? Apply double standards much? You are comparing the features of a game that has been out for 4 years, to a game that has been out for less then a month. I have no doubt that when WAR has had 4 years to age it will have a whole slew of new things to do at end-game similar to your list of what WoW has after 4 years of development. Yes, WoW is a good game, but it has had FOUR YEARS to become that good game. When you compare what WoW had at launch to what WAR has at launch, you will find that WAR actually HAS more then WoW did. Lets do this, lets look at what WAR has in endgame compared to what WoW had at endgame when it released.... WAR: 1. Scenarios (battlegrounds) 2. City Sieges 3. Open World RvR 4. Dungeons, multiple 6-man (single group) up through 24-man (raids) dungeons are in-game, and functioning properly WoW 1. Dungeon, one single dungeon, UBRS 2. Ummm..... 3. Nothing to see here.... 4. Still nothing to see here.... |

ERROR! WOW? WAR? Anyone still playing it??!!! :D
Wow was the same at the beggining! Now, i find WOW more pleasurable then WAR today. But i will let WAR mature over time. I will keep paying, and logging in to the game, to see if they can fix it... I have faith in Mythic, and think they can fix it withing the next few months... |

not meaning to flame here because you're basically agreeing with me but you're proving my last point in my prior post.
you obviously didnt play WoW from the start as there were zero BG's and 1.5 non working raid encounters.
you can strike ech and ever number he listed as none of it existed at luanch or for atleast 6 months after launch for WoW
You are correct. It's been a few years and I actually joined WoW right as the BGs came out. I read your post which triggered my memory from that time. I liked your response better. |

I was at least able to play AoC, it was just that the memory leaks would force me to log every now and then. This stuff is just outrageous. I am talking bare basics here, not about the bugs, or any of all that other crazy stuff like Order vs Destruction imbalance, thin server population and so on. I just want to play the game. To me WAR absolutely has more problems than AoC. remember AoC did also not run into criticism before about a month or so had gone by. |

Look it's just laughable to try and match WAR up against WoW. WoW is the undisputed content winner. Hands down now and/or WoW launch. AoC is the undisputed Graphics, atmosphere, Innovation type of winner while I am not really sure what WAR is... WAR could have been the undisputed RvR winner but then again it is not working so I don't know what to say. I hope Mythic get their stuff together soon so WAR can be the massive PvP winner but at the moment is looks like "The communicator" Mike Jacobs is going to waste his chance. He should rather focus on taping his game together than bitch on other games. |

Blade Dancer? It's obvious that he's never played the game and only has 2 posts. Prv. 15:1 |

Rofl why it that posts that have anything to do with WoW always gets a lot of attention? As far as i am concerned this is another redundant as*ed post, because whether the NDA was lifted or not is inconsequential, as WAR is a success, if it wasnt then maybe it would have been an issue.

Yeah he does strike me as one of those whiney types. Kinda like he just got back from seeing his therapist and "so give me a break over here!" and so on. |

This is just all false its easy to point fingers and lie. But as you see it is false. I have raided IC and Beat on jett in beta. The NDA was lisfted before open beta even. WArhammer had the most open development of a mmo to date, there is no doubt in this , the youd show your hand if you were not hiding secrets is BS. REally loook at thread on this very site you'll see tons of people saying wow they show us so much , and they did. Mythic showed us at leasy 7 times more than blizz did with the development of their games (however new tech plays some role in this, not 7 times the role tho). Senerios are not the fastest way to level , they may however, be if you never group. L2 socialize. He in teir two i have played on 3 servers and normally it takes 1-10 minutes. At peak its most often 0-4 before and after 2-8 and when no ones on 8-11 (3 am). And like he has any room to talk about sides being overpopulated (wow servers are normally havely populated by one side OR THE OTHER) At least in WAr there is a reason to make new toons on low sides servers 20% exp and renown bonus which is a ton. Wow's user interface is a copy of daoc -> AC2 and others, there was nothing of great note differnece. So if war stoel this so did wow. (It pretty much the standard mmo ui atm). "The game stability has been unbelievable and it blows away any other online games" QFT Seriously, servers are rock hard. I now crash more in wow than in WAR. for the last month in wow the top population servers have been able to raid one night because the severs lag and crash out every night (This is 4 years in, you want to compare games go ahead but be carefulz). Now you might not like WAR but you have to admit WAr/mythic has gone a much better job releaseing this game, fixing issues, and adressing community concerns (already bumped open rvr to 100% exp) now compare that to blizzard ... it not even close. On this principle alone id rather play war as im sick of dev. screwing the player base becuase they don't giva. Originally posted by Scriar Lets all be honest, you don't have to liek WAR , but most of these claims (of the blizz staff) are simply uneducated claims are that largely false. Some of them i can't sayd becuase well what MJ said to this dude or not , i have no clue. But I beta'ed war and wow for a long time each. Wow's release had nothign i mean nothing on WArs if both games were released at the same time , you would have never even heard of wow. Wow release state was sad, people who played it got two weeks free play becuase it was unplayable for a full two weeks after the release date im saying 95% unplayable most often you sat around doing thing waiting for servers to catch up with your toon and loot. http://multiplayerblog.mtv.com/2008/09/18/mythic-war-vs-wow/ While MJ may be takign the fight to WoW he is not being nasty while doing it obviously, however, it seems like one if nasty things are said (ie bliz director dude) he not gonna back down. He comments here seem quite weak even he should have said we have a better game etc etc. Oh well you can make accusation then their is reality (join us.) My agenda? I just enjoy the debate. Can we go through some questions? 1. Did elders, the day before launch have an NDA on endgame content? Yes No, this is false they had an NDA on elder servers not end game content. Then agian you have a lot of wow/ aoc fanboyz too , one of which claimed his lvl 33 bladeweaver had abd experiences (BW is not a class in WAR).
Sure, but i have played on both sides being the low pop HELPS you in that sens que faster , there are always people to play with. How many lvl 40s we got, how equiped are they, do they know the tactics to the fights , etc. Its not supposted to be easy its supposted to be harder then MC was when it was first released. Are they? im not. And I don't recall what exact question you asked about the top 100 games sales. The point remains that Warhammer has fallen out of the top 100 total games sales. You can say " but only count PC games, don't count preorders and don't count games that begin with letter S"..but the fact remains... Animal Crossing: City Folks sold more boxes than warhammer did last week. Let's log into warhammer and count how many servers right now are at low/low and low/medium.. shall we? Server populations have steadily decreased since launch. Box sales are now in the Animal Crossing range and we haven't even hitten the first renewal date. When i geta new game i play it a ton more than a month after, however, i do believe that people have left. But really, the only reason I'm posting here is because for the past 30 mins, I've been trying to open my ingame mail :) HAHA this is funny guess what mail was fixed like the 20ths i realize this was 4 days after you posted , but it just goes to show that Mythic fixes stuff fast. Mail lag no longer a issue, thank you mythic for another quick fix on a standing issue, name another company that has fixed as much as mythic and as fast... U can't.
