So cartoonish graphics automaticly make it a WoW clone? While I do like the graphics style of SWG better as of now, who knows were still in early devolopment. |

Yeah most star wars games don't have cartoonish graphics but just because this one does so far dosen't mean it will be exactly the same as WoW but in a star wars universe. Im hoping later on in development it will look more like Dragon Age does. But that might be wishful thinking. |

Star Wars: The Old Republic is the best MMO news I've heard since they announced Star Wars Galaxies. Plus each class will have its own storyline. I've been wanting that in an MMO like forever, lol. When we get back from where we are going, we will return to where we were. I know people there! |

that is wishful thinking. no offense guys but this whole "oh its beta the graphics will be better in release" is pretty much nonsense .... they might look cleaner and sharper but its not going to get rid of the cartoonly look. this is the graphic style your pretty much stuck in ... no matter how you justify it. |

i love star wars enough to be able to cope with the graphics like that. that doesnt mean in any sense that its going to be a wow clone. shit the game i first started playing online was 2nd with block people hitting squirrels with a wooden stick. as long as bioware makes it a solid game with kick ass gameplay and depth like kotor 1 and 2 then im happy forever

I ran AOC fine maybe your computer just blows, maybe you should stop trying to run games on your Tandy 1000 there was a crap load wrong with AOC but its graphics were amazing |

yeah because graphics change that much ... i bet if you went back and took some of the FIRST WAR screenies and compared them to what we have now ... they would look pretty similar. like i said a few graphic effects will only sharpen the graphics not completely changed them from a cartoon piece of crap. |
