Nice video choice. Cartoons are probably the preferable choice for communicating with the Darkfall community. 'Course, Sesame street might be better. As for anything coming in 2008, until it's here don't count on it. |

Zorvan im not sayin you are wrong or agreein with what was said about you above... But I find it amazing that the arguement now against DF is that it must release with 100% of its features working fine; a standard that has never been placed on past mmos, and that past mmos have never accomplished. And trust me they have mostly all boasted in similar ways that DF has and promised features to be in up to the last minute (or in AoC's case, after release). Its awsome that a few months ago many of the naysayers were arguing that the game was not in development and should be removed from the website, or that it was a scam etc.....oh how times have changed. We dont even see an apology or i was wrong comment from them...its just on to the next thing to try and bash DF about. You guys do realize we remember who said what and that your opinions are becoming laughable right? Again zorvan im not directing this at you, its just you sparked the idea in my head to point this out. ---sig---

AoC killed any chance at forgiveness for future game developers in this area, and that's for all mmos, not just darkfall. |

This is what happens with the VAST MAJORITY of games, whether they are mmorpg's or not. A developer announces that they are are creating an 'X' type game with 'Y' and 'Z' features. People who are attracted to X,Y or Z are attracted to the official forums where they discuss the game, it's features and the released media.
This ... is ... normal.
Look at games both past, present and future. It is/was the same with Fallout 3, Oblivion, Warcraft, Warhammer, Crysis, Bioshock, ArmA and just about EVERY GAME in that little 'in development' list on the lower left there.
You can't attack Darkfall fans for being average fans. Until the game is released, and shown to be EVERYTHING it is claimed to be, the only ones digging holes are fanbois whipping their expectations through the roof.

I was not the only one who thought it was 200 vs. 200. A good many of your fanboi brethren were running around toting those numbers as a reason to play Darkfall before and after I admitted I misread it and that the claim was actually 100 vs. 100 ( still a doubtful number but much more manageable than 200 vs. 200 ). In fact, it was fanbois toting the 200 vs. 200 number both here and on Forumfall which caused me to start ranting about the infeasability of it. And the fact is, if you remember, I went straight to Forumfall with the same nick as I use here and asked for clarification from the members there ( no small feat considering how most of them view me ). They pointed out my info was acually mistaken, and I came back here and apologized. Would I bother with all that if my only intention was to be a "troll" as you like to put it? I think not. |

As has often been the case in our history, its far easier to be a part of the mass, to jump on the bandwagon than it is to stand alone and say "I wont be a patsy just because everyone around me is" You need the trolls theyre "keeping it real" instead of wrangling rattlesnakes and chanting endlessly. |
