I thought there was going to be some sort of an announcement at the event? I'm hoping that a bigger announcement is coming tomorrow perhaps? Obviously, I am not alone in thinking that there was going to be a bit more info released...

Relax! The Athen event was a small step for MMOs, but a gigant step for Aventurine. Soon we will get all the information we need. |

Bunch of nerds hyped the event based on nothing but a few badly translated words from Greek. Seriously, anyone with a brain could guess it would be a presentation + possibly some live gameplay on 2-3 computers, typical of such events. "Public launch"? Seriously, wtf. |

Tbh, I wasn't expecting something new, or any kind of a date. But if people played the game, then that's pretty big. (Or at least saw it, and not a video) |

It doesn't end after the Darkfall presentation. This was information Tasos gave Shaar leave to report. And as has already been announced, beta has already started, and Tasos made a point in saying "we may not announce the beginning of the next phase." As of 3 days ago they are still in hardware testing. |

He even capitalized the word OPEN so that it would be emphasized. You are right though in that Tasos said they may not announce the begginning of the next phase. He also didn't say that the end of OPEN BETA would be announced before the beginning... go figure. |

Unfortunately there is no such thing as accepting a game for what it is now-a-days. It's all about me... so yeah I agree. Come release... there will be tons of posts complaining about Full Loot. The telling part for the future of the game will be what is done about them. |
