When downloading patches on blizz downloader, my download speeds today started at 700kb/s, dropped to about 600 which is my normal dl speed, Its been an hour and a half now and my download speed is 45kb/s, It says its behind a firewall but ive already done what the guide says for windows service pack 2, my other antivirus is Avast! Not sure what to do?? Speed keeps dropping until it is eventually 0 kb/s.. |

Reboot your router (just plug out). I have once in a month the same problem with Belkin routers (wireless). It always helps. Hint: next time always take the option of "background loading while playing". It takes forever to download 1.2 GByte :)) GL |

May contain nuts. |
A lot of people have this problem, including me. Despite the firewall warning the patch will still download, but the downloader won't be as responsive. The best thing is to just leave it running. It'll be slow as everyone is patching and they use a torrent-type system. Leave it an hour or two and it'll probably be done. |

I downloaded the 1.63GB in 5 hours at around 130KBs (1000Kbs) and behind a firewall. With my old router and firewall I went through opening the ports and giving all the permissions to the downloader and never saw a big difference. I have Avast too. And a real 14Mbps line (20Mbps contracted). edit: if finished around 12 hours ago. I was from 3am to 8am in CET, add or take 1 hour, I never know |
