Actually, when I need a break from MMOs, I usually do stuff that does not involve the computer!

Can't go wrong with the fighters. Especially the 2D ones! :) (on console of course) Street fighter, King of fighters, Tekken, Soul Caliber, Fatal Fury, The Art of fighting, Samurai shodown and many more. |

When you need a break from MMOs what game or games do you play?
Darkfall "Don't sweat it -- it's not real life. It's only ones and zeroes." Gene Spafford "A lot of hacking is playing with other people, you know, getting them to do strange things." |

Turn off the computer.

If I do need a break for MMO's, The games I usually games were basketball, tennis, badminton. I do really tend to take a break from MMO's or any computer generated games. So that I can still have a healthy body and a social life.

When not playing an mmo I generally play Dawn of War or Day of Defeat: Source. If I am really bored I will load up some other random game that I might find interesting for an hour or so like Bioshock, Silverfall, The Witcher, etc.. Maybe one day I will play one of them long enough to get to the end but I am in no hurry.

I'm replaying old games (Patrician, RTC3) and I'm going through a lot of games that I 'missed' because I was playing an MMO and didn't have time for much else. So I have a lot of catching up to do. Currently catching up on Oblivion, The Witcher, Overlord (that's my favorite at the moment), Sins of a Solar Empire. Also bought a Wii. Yes, shoot me, but the gameplay is simply vastly different from any other platform, with the added bonus that my friends and family will play along as well, something that has never happened before with video games. My parents in law love Mario Kart and my own parents love Wii Sports. Got a few games to play/finish on Wii too: Mario Kart, Boom Blox, Zelda, Top Spin 3. Looking forward to Fallout 3, the expansion for Sins of a Solar Empire, and some Wii games. I also got back to playing board games. My favorites at the moment: Descent, Carcassonne, Bang! I don't think I will have time to play any MMOs for months to come :) I still miss the social aspect of playing MMOs, but then again, most MMOs are solo experiences these days anyway, so...

EA Sports NHL 09 The new EA Sports Hockey League is f'ing fantastic. Its like a competitive sports MMO. Make a player, play just as him on a team with all your friends. |

Kingdom Hearts. Can't seem to get bored with them. Shouting relieves my body and soul. |

The massively underrated Dwarf Fortress. Once you get over the ASCII graphics and insane learning curve it is one of the most complex, immersive and addictive games out there (and it's indie). |

Same here. Include all other FF series to that. Getting everything you can get for bragging rights is my hobby. |
