No forums will be safe from rabid fanbois, or the rabid hatebois.

Wait for a free trial, or buddy key and give it a shot yourself. DO NOT BUY IT BLINDLY.

I enjoyed the game.  I am still cancelling because T3-T4 is broken.  And order is borked for the long term, therefore the game is borked.

But yes there is a lot of misinformation on these forums.  Some people have absolutely no clue how the game works, especially the Tome of Knowledge, yet are convinced they know what they are talking about.

There's a very good reason behind that misinformation, noone talks about games anymore. They spend to much time praising them or ranting about them. The actual subject at hand (the game) gets buried deep done somewhere inbetween. This isn't just an issue with war or AOC, it's basically the same thing any where you bother to look.

Ummmm,

You do realize that the Warhammer Alliance board sucks balls and that they are so heavily monitored with stupid head moderators that it takes all the greatness out of the community.  It's hard to be part of a community when they can only be onesided. Just my 5 Canadian cents.

Thanks for the invite over but... No thanks, I love MMORPG and will never turn away, this is one of the few unbiased sites left on the net.

i agree, i read though all the threads here and i think, wow what a horrible game this must be.  I then realize that this is about the game im currently playing, and its all descibed like its some other game.  Its why i come here to defend the game,

everyones right though, its just a game, if you dont like it, big deal...

if your over 18, $50 should be nothing, you can get a job ect.  think about it $50 is like a movie once a week for a month...

if you didnt like the game move on,  peoples emotions run way too high about these games, its quite ridiculous.

Wow, has anyone noticed the draw this thread has to current WoW players on this WAR forum that dont even play Warhammer.

It just goes to show you though, even the HARDCORE WoW fans monitor the WAR forums to see whats going on with this game and is it a true threat to WoW and them?

Do the HARDCORE WoW fans want this game to fail, sure they do and will keep posting negatives about any game that may threaten their WoW experience.

Don't get me wrong, I cancelled my WoW account a couple months ago because I got to level 70 again with my horde and found out there is no reason to do instances once again like (TBC), until Lich King comes out. But I never saw so much bickering amoung the fans of WoW vs the fans of WAR.

We should be happy that WoW has a contender on the block, this will get Blizzard off their lazy asses and make WoW more appealing to play. The game is 4 years old, the system is locked heavily to PvE scripted instances and will remain this way, since its Blizzards winning formula.

Anyways, its a shame that blizzard didnt implement a true RvR system into their game when it was released back in 2004 with battlekeeps and siege weapons after all this time, it took another game 4 years later for them to get them off their asses.

Believe me, if they had this, their probably wouldnt even be a Warhammer Online (what we see today), so yeah, I am glad Mythic is here to stay and hope WAR threatens WoW for years to come and vice versa.

Amen. I wouldn't call it a tendancy to be negative. I'd call it a compulsion or a mission. I find it very hard to find anything of use in MMORPG.com's forums. It's just months and years of the same crappy arguments about wether or not a game sucks. Not much useful information about the games themselves. If it's not a flamewar or troll post it drops out of sight in a couple hours.

Agree with this 100% its the same way with WOW or War people just coming on to bash the game

Check my post history and  Lets see how many times i've made that mistake. Admittingly i may have assumed too much on my post, and for that i appologize. Do understand, however, that the way make your posts opens up comments like mine to be made. Especially when you state that the game's very mechanics were desined for players with no skills. Being a current subscriber to this game myself, i took personal offence to that and i don't consider myself as skilless, however i do have fun with the game. Again, i do apologize for assuming like that will try harder to not do that.
