So you have to click on the reward sometimes even when there is only 1 choice - i have noticed this once or twice in about 200 quests.

Some mobs flee when low on health and get far enough way that they reset - I agree this is frustrating and needs fixing.

Targeting system is shoddy - agreed.

Scenarios bugged - how exactly? they have been working OK for me?

Mastery points give bonuses to abilities you haven't picked up yet - this is a problem how? How is the game affected in any way by this?

Whilst I agree with most of your points, these are very minor issues. I see nothing to be getting all worked up over. If there was missing content, exploits, broken professions, unplayable frame-rates or something of that nature I would be on here giving Mythic a once-over as well, but having to click on your reward when there is only 1 choice??? Jesus....

WAR was a big letdown for me to and I generally agree with the OP, but it wasnt the bugs that got to me. here is my biggest WAR letdowns:

• RvR with only two fractions! How and why did the devs agree to this? with warhammer as their setting, a three and even four fractions wouldnt be a problem, and the RvR would get interesting.
• Shallow fluff. It doesnt surprise me though. Basing their lore and story on the table-top game, where 95% of the lore is fluff about wars and famous warriors.
• Small and claustrophobic world. The mmo devs have really lost their way here, expecting that, creating a world suited for a linear single-player game is sufficent for an mmo game. An mmo isnt a story, its first and foremost a world. I expect more!
• PvE was weak at best. Save for the five first PQ quests, the pve was horrible. Small, solo and easy. A very frustrating quest grind.
• Rotten Crafting. LOL - need I say more

There were a few nice moments ingame, but it did last long. Too bad though, I was hope for a new DAoC which was a great game! 

The primary turn off for me was the community. I felt like I was playing a single player game with random allies running around the entire time.

Im loving WAR.  As for those who dont, hopefully you can find something more exciting to do with your time then come here and rant and rave all day.

MMO, the only product where you have to be able to create an improved version (and sometimes for free) before being able to complain Better if you are standing only in one leg and whistling meanwhile, then you will really be allowed to complain! If not... well bad luck! Play the crap and shut up!

WAR has better RvR then DAoC and is so much more fun in PvE then WoW. You probaly just played to 13 and stopped because a few bugs now and then annoy you. If you have this low of a tolerance to bugs in a game then dont even play WAR and go play it 3 years from now and until then plz be silent

Well, I only saw the bosses running back when somebody pulled them from their spawnpoint too far. The abilities' tooltips are showing the actual level's bonuses, but these bonuses are changing with every level.

I have to agree with the community (the chat is awful) and the targetting system.

I tire of seeing threads like this. Everyone's opinion is different. Personally, I'm having fun in the game. Sure it has its fair share of bugs, but what game doesn't? The only thing I don't like is how I feel like the order classes are underpowered compared to the destruction classes (Yes, I know, I play destruction. Sue me =P)

Once Knight of the Blazing Sun comes out, I'll probably play one of those. I like tank classes, and sadly, Order is lacking. It's either be a midget, or a guy who looks like a girl. Destruction seems to have all its bases covered.

I never played DAoC, and am kicking myself. I've been hearing how good a game it is. I've played a lot of other mmo's, though. UO, AO, SWG before the update, WoW (of course), EQ2, Vanguard, EVE, list goes on and I'm sure you guys aren't looking for a full resume on me.

So, I say just take WAR for what it is: A game based around PvP that is just meant to be fun more than a level grind.
