I do agree there are quite a few bad reviews, but i can say i ve read way more good ones, at least 10-1. That said i would say overall it s getting great reviews and it deserves it. |

You guys do realize that those game reviews are on websites that are supported by advertisement from those same games right? Their basicly reviewing from people who put bread on their table, they have no credibility. All EA would have to do is say, if you give us a low grade we'll pull out our advertising money. It's like asking a car salesman if I'll be satisfied buying that car from him when they get paid by how much they sell. It's ridiculous |

I wonder what MMORPG.com will give it. And people just need to wait untill they start releasing Content and Balance changes. It's awesome they focus on bugs first! 2 entire patches so far only for bugs. Meaning they take their time before jumping to conclusions about the classes. Also they need to wait untill many players are 40.

And we're giving you our opinion, two way street, it's called discussion. My point is that by your own admission the game doesn't really get good until level 24, how can this be considered a 9.0 (just one point shy from perfect). Also I do like to play, but it does have its flaws like all MMOs. |

The game is EASILY 9.0. I am on the higher levels. My main is even higher then the guy in my sig. :) This game is a GREAT game. Just got to not listen to the haters.

I'll call it a 9.0 simply because you can level in PvP. No other fantasy MMO to date that I've played have got that right yet. That combined with the fact that it's tons of fun and has collision detection. Sure it has some bugs to iron out but other MMOs that launched had way way more. So far I love the game. |

Pff, haters, give it up already. Rating this game with anything lower then 7ish is only proof of you being biased. The game might not be your particular favorite cup of tea but that doesn't mean it's a bad game. Quality comes in different shapes, ye know? And if there is one thing where the mmo world, the game sites and a vast part of 750.000 players seem to agree on is that WAR is a highly entertaining, quality mmo. Sure it has it's bugs and quirky issues like stuttering here and there, sure it has a problem on some servers with faction balance, sure they launched a few servers too many in the beginning and there are other things that need to be addressed. Big surprise? No. You get that kind of stuff when you launch an mmo of WAR's scope and WAR's issues are minor compared to many other launches. Besides from those points the game and client is very stable and the bugs that are really game breaking are few. Very few. Mythic is already in high pollishing mode and tuning game play mechanics. They don't have to make excuses for a crappy client, or work their ass off on promised content that is lacking like AoC lately, or WOW at launch. (Those cities and other classes can easily wait for a while, the game is whole for now). Mythic delivered and the dev's are merily working to make WAR even better. Instead of worrying for their jobs ... Anywhere between a 7 and a 9 would be a defendable score. Depending on which aspects you focus, even if it's not your personal mmo poison. |

Whats even funner is I didn't state whether this was opinion or fact. Just said it was a easily a 9.0. Don't be a troll and go back to the vanguard forums. The only FACT I can say is no matter what anyone says its still a great game.

A well deserved score for WAR, although I still haven't forgiven IGN for giving one of my favorite games a 3/10 just because the game was too hard for the reviewer (he pretty much even said it in his lousy review). Gaming journalism is just a big joke every now and then. |

A single review is highly subjective and not worth much, but when there are lots of postive reviews then a game picks up notice. It's nice IGN added its voice to the positive reviews WAR has been receiving. |

9 seems a bit generous to me, I would give it 7,5. Not bad but can be improved. But it is off course my personal opinion. Still, the game do have things that do need improvement like the balance between the 2 sides, more dungeons and the rest of the citys. The graphics is more a 7 then a 9 or 10. Im sure WAR will be a 9 in 6-12 months but it is just not really there yet, a 9 should be almost perfect. |
