This is the best PvP - PvE MMO I have yet to play.  Started up on MMOs with EQ in '99.  Log in everyday and it just keeps getting better.  As far as servers mine has plenty of action, I had enough common sense to choose one of the Medium  - High combos.

Your issue is the Low population server. And I do agree with what's been said, to counteract the postlaunch surge of players, they really need to merge some of the lower population servers together. RvR is pretty nonexsistant on the lower pop servers.

My reccommendation - switch to a higher pop server. I'm currently playing on Phoenix Throne (Core-RP) and both Scenarios AND Open World are really active. There are -at least- 2 keep seiges a night (in T3 at least), and Scenarios pop every 5-6 minutes.

Mark Jacobs promised that  WAR would release when it was great. He obviously LIED. So yes, fire him, and the histrionic Barnett too, and that guy that tries to be funny like Barnett and has that 80s hair.

Yes, and while we're at it, lets castrate the maker of the 2nd most successfull MMORPG on the market today, and bar non the best pvp MMORPG.

I play LotRO still.  Very nice MMO, but it has some nasty grind all over the place.  Traits, Virtues, Legendaries, and when you get to the higher Lv40s.

The grind in WAR is nowhere even in the same realm.

Unlike SOME recent games we could mention, we're not going to be seeing Mark Jacobs removed from his posittion in the company anytime soon.

But then, he's not a nutjob taking DNA into space either.

You can pvp all you want and never have to touch a mob if you so desire. or very little in order to get the PQ items.

sad you haven't experienced the game yet. the game is the best game i have ever played, t3 keep sieges are amazing, i just made a post on how we fought for a keep for an hour. best thing i have ever experienced in a game. and that only tier 3.

Here is another, ironrock, my server is high/full during prime hours, not sure what you play but T2 is extremely active scenario wise and RVR in t2/3 keeps change hands daily and sometimes several times a night, specially in those 2 tiers. cant say much for tier 4 as its not active as of yet, I have to agree with most, the main issues are low pop servers.

oh and T2 mourkain temple alone never has more then a 3 minute queue and often I get in less then 1 minute after queue'n. phoenix gate is dead in t2 and stonetroll is active though not as much as mourkain. T3 ive only been in 2 scenarios and the queues on them were less then 5 minutes.

That had me laughing for a while at least Colbert's DNA is going up, that is some comfort.

      We should just put all these threads into the 'I should have waited 6 months after release before I tried it" category......A big part of being successful is being able to adapt and change.....You have to give the game a little time.....2 weeks is hardly a good judge of whether or not to fire the guy in charge.....The game isnt a total disaster and the majority seem to like it so thats good enough for now......They wioll make changes to the game and will probably even bring in the missing classes and cities eventually.

Massive success???? -20% drop in xfire in just the last week does not match with your statement. Read man, read what people write. 50% of the servers are already at low or very little activity. People are already screaming merge. That is not successfull in my book.

The game has a user rating of 8.84, rock solid. Full one point above any other game.

I love the game. And so do all the people I actually know who are playing it.

It's getting glowing reviews both from users and professional reviewers.

FYI:

the mail CD is 5 seconds now, 1 sec for guildies and alts in the next patch. I think it is obvious even to the dogs and cats why there was a 20 sec CD at release.

the game is less than a month old - maybe that has some impact on population distribution sherlock?

in the next patch lower pop factions and servers will be getting xp and renown boosts and there has already been silent increases to T3 quest xp.

... and all that in LESS THAN ONE FREAKING MONTH!!!!! I have NEVER EVER SEEN A MMO COMPANY REACT THAT FAST TO PLAYER CONCERNS! NEVER EVER!!!!

FYI I'm playing on a low pop server as well but I'm aware of it and I'm taking my time leveling. In addition I've formed a guild and we roam the PvE and RvR zones as an open warband and we've NEVER EVER had any of those problems you've mentioned with grouping, completing PQs getting XP or finding open RvR action. In fact we had and still are having a total blast. L2P!

Please, then what server are you on? Mine is DEAD.

my server has a good healthy population.  yes there are empty PQ's (especially in the Dwarf zone) but i attribute that to the retards who only play in the Empire/Chaos area and the fact that there is so many PQ's.  BG's are the same.  i played on an alt on a different server (to play Destruction) and after 40 minutes of god damn Nordenwatch i (finally) managed to see the Dwarf/orc instance.  does that mean there is too low pop for that stuff?  no it means people just dont join the right queues.

i'd say you rolled on the wrong server
