I put WAR on the shelf due to technical issues like lad and crash to desktop, so I did not even get the chance to see if it bored me or if this is something I will spend time on. Anyway I am in AoC now and the game has cleaned up a lot. FPS is much higher in AoC (high) than for WAR. Population has also increased lately on many of the servers (check out AoC forums newcomersection for more on this). I'd say check it out.

Depends, what was it you didn't like about it during that first month?

You played it first month, so I would just say there is a sea of difference. FPS and stbility is way up now.

I haven't had any memmory leaks ( you know, grey maps and shit) since Erling said in the interview they will concentrate in fixing the leaks.

Of course since the game has huge textures you should just restart the client if you experience fps dropping for no reason.

Also from friends that played the Test live server, they pretty much told me that FC is fixing all the 1 shot kill skills and that the game after PvP patch 3 will be amazing.

Up to you. Can you afford 15 euros? Because that is all you might lose if you dont like the game this time either.

yes it has,

more people, less bugs, new director, half a pvp update...

I like AoC alot now, but you really need to stick to WAR and see if the same that has happened for AoC will happen for you.

Yes AoC is now rock stable performancewise. Still other stuff to patch in though, but its getting there.

For me it made a big difference when patch 2.0 came. I can have fun in the game now with close to none performance issues.

The only real problem I see with AoC right now is lack of end game content (which will get fixed in time) and the fact that equipment is all the exact same in graphic and usefullness (as in, all gear is pretty much useless at this point and most people still dont know what the hell the percentages do)

I would wait a few more months and hope a real pvp patch and itemazation patch is released by then.

Dont worry about catching up to friends if they are already playing without you, you can get to level 80 in less than a month (I reached 80 before the free month ended and that was on a bear shaman, probably even easier with prime dps classes).

Well it is no easy thing to get to level 5 PvP and even  harder to get to level 10 with a decent Kill to death ratio. You will need time. Also powerpoints only accumulate with time (FC own way to reward loyal subscribers I guess).

Your having fun in WAR... yet your bored?  Why not play both since it may be hard to keep someone who finds fun boring... happy?

Wow, first guy I seen having fun and being bored at the same time...

AoC have improved a lot but if I where you I play WAR a few more weeks until Patch 3,0 go from the test server to the live one, Patch 2,0 did a lot but 3,0 have a lot of content we need badly now like the improved crafting system ad the rest of the PvP update.

If you are bored with WAR means that you have seen most things and tried most things, AoC is not so big on content compared to WAR.

So if you came back to AOC you would be bored again afterall you have already played it for a month at launch so a lot of things will be old for you.

I do beleive that most of the fixes so far in Aoc have been performance and pvp releated, not massive content updates, from the post above, items have yet to be addressed.

So i seriously doubt that you will last in Aoc for the duration of onemonth before getting bored again!

Currently playing WoW.
Played: Eve, VG, AoC, WAR,PS,FE, EQ2.
Looked at: LOTRO, DDO

Laughable. I play AoC and I could write an essay of what FC have done better than Mythic. That in it self is a very good reason for why many people would prefer AoC. I do however also thing Mythic did some good stuff, and I will probably test WAR again when performance, lag, bugs and other have been improved.
