Right now, besides the sheer content missing, four races and all the players thereof have no 'home' which is constantly referred to throughout the game and its awkward on all counts. The longer this thing goes on, without any kind of word from EAMythic, the more obvious it will become to the players."
Use the internet much? There is of interviews about the cities and classes. They have not remained silent on it like you assume. Hey loo there's an interview where Mark Jacobs talks about them AND IT'S FROM THIS VERY SITE! www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/game/239/feature/2041/page/2

Um.. a link to an OFFICIAL notice would rock. In the closed beta we were told they were cut indefinately and at no point have I seen where they put any sort of timeline on the reintroduction. Your link points to a fansite forum, with posts from other players such as yourself. The only official word I can find says indefinately, but does guarentee that the cut 'classes' will be free, and not a paid expansion. The cities, I believe, were not actually cut, but rather were never actually made to begin with. Here is the link to what Marc Jacobs 'actually' said. http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm?PAGE=2&FEATURE=2041&GAME=239&bhcp=1 Note he says 'if' they are reintroduced, they will be free. IF not WHEN, and SHOULD not WILL. |

So you're saying Gaz has to go find the source to someone else claims? That'd be like Michael Crichton saying its someone elses job to cite the research he does for his books. Your analogy is completely flawed. She made an argument. She needs facts to have the argument be valid. With out any evidence of anything she has claimed, her argument becomes void, and thus this thread becomes a waste of time.
That's pretty much the point I was trying to make. A bit subtle on the sarcasm side. Should have known better on these boards. |

Originally posted by MephistoXV Actually the evidence I presented on the previous page was directly from Jacobs mouth. In other words, you and another poster just above you actually read the first few posts of that same page, and ignored the other half, to have come to me with your argument as presented. I am not buying that.* ___________________ http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2006/12/13/ |

I think the rotating in and out of cities would be best because like Jacobs said with 3 on each side getting people together that all want to attack the same one would be a pain. They need to address the population on servers (which they are gathering data to fix) and then the main concern is cut classes when it comes to content. Obviously various bug fixes are their main concern.

Originally posted by MephistoXV I understand that some people will never be impressed. I never disagreed that cities were content but as it pertains to a basis of need, you obviously aren't really playing the game for the game. Or if that, not even partaking in the RvR or PQs of certain pairings. It's Eye Candy and it's Function. One city from WoW is all it needs to function, and one city in WAR has done just as well. If it doesn't come, I can settle for less under the long-gone teachings of Keep It Simple, Stupid. --------------------- |
