Right now, besides the sheer content missing, four races and all the players thereof have no 'home' which is constantly referred to throughout the game and its awkward on all counts. The longer this thing goes on, without any kind of word from EAMythic, the more obvious it will become to the players."

Use the internet much? There is of interviews about the cities and classes. They have not remained silent on it like you assume. Hey loo there's an interview where Mark Jacobs talks about them AND IT'S FROM THIS VERY SITE!

Has anyone noticed the icon the OP is using? He's here to stir up trouble.

Um.. a link to an OFFICIAL notice would rock. In the closed beta we were told they were cut indefinately and at no point have I seen where they put any sort of timeline on the reintroduction. Your link points to a fansite forum, with posts from other players such as yourself. The only official word I can find says indefinately, but does guarentee that the cut 'classes' will be free, and not a paid expansion. The cities, I believe, were not actually cut, but rather were never actually made to begin with.

Here is the link to what Marc Jacobs 'actually' said.

Note he says 'if' they are reintroduced, they will be free. IF not WHEN, and SHOULD not WILL.

Pardon my ignorance, but what's the significance of their avatar?

Ok but you failed to answer my question. I asked for OFFICAL words on the cities returning shortly after launch.

You can look it up yourself why should others do the work for you? Do you get your mom to cash your welfare checks? Just google it and see but noone is denying that they were cut they were just postponed.

So you're saying Gaz has to go find the source to someone else claims? That'd be like Michael Crichton saying its someone elses job to cite the research he does for his books.

Your analogy is completely flawed.  She made an argument.  She needs facts to have the argument be valid.

With out any evidence of anything she has claimed, her argument becomes void, and thus this thread becomes a waste of time.

That's pretty much the point I was trying to make. A bit subtle on the sarcasm side. Should have known better on these boards.

The difference between an ultimatum and what I actually said can be found in the context alone- read the post again and more importantly to whom and about what I was actually debating.

2) Well obviously I will be taking your and that guys advice on this and won't subscribe? What exactly did you see in that 'ultimatum' if it wasn't a statement that I was so disappointed I would 'vote with my wallet'?

3) The other thing you have going on here is just old. Old and tired and transparent. You bring in an entire argument, lay it out, beat it, and than say I was going to say it. The intention there was to give the appearance that I did argue it, so you would win a point like we were playing pong. Same thing with the sarcasm, you are obviously here to win something. You couldn't care less about the actual topic.

Good God, just shut up and go play WoW if you're seriously throwing fits over the cities as if it was an unexcused insult straight to your face. The evidence you provided wasn't evidence, it was here-say, opinions and unofficial. If you aren't open to discussion (as you've back-talked everyone that barely disputed your side of the topic) then do as the first sentence condemned.

I don't want you in my game. Neither does Mythic.

Really. Really, really. There are more important things for them to do. I'm sure part of the reason WAR doesn't have an official forum is because they've seen what a company that listens to the forum will accidently do to their game.

Honestly I'd rather see classes in first rather than empty eye-candy. Order needs more people to be up-fronters. I'm sick of Bright Wizards being the only thing I fight or the only thing standing next to me on the other side of things. The only viable thing I could give a damn about cities is to add a couple extra instances after the original ones run out of flavor which we're still a good half-year from at best.

Actually the evidence I presented on the previous page was directly from Jacobs mouth. In other words, you and another poster just above you actually read the first few posts of that same page, and ignored the other half, to have come to me with your argument as presented. I am not buying that.*

As for people who were disputing me, really? Judging from your post I'll guess that you are referring to the people who were seriously trying to tell me that a capital city zone is not considered content. That is something I still can't believe was brought up and actually argued by a squall of people (one person?). Again, this was shut down in the second half of the previous page by JACOBS.

*The kicker of this whole thing, is that what was also concluded on the previous page was the entire point of the topic thread. There was nothing else productive to say beyond that page, and almost every single post on this page goes to prove that, complete with a one liner complaining about my avatar and another telling me to play WoW. What this looks like is that a lot of people chose to just ignore all of these facts and attempted to start up a fight.

I think the rotating in and out of cities would be best because like Jacobs said with 3 on each side getting people together that all want to attack the same one would be a pain. They need to address the population on servers (which they are gathering data to fix) and then the main concern is cut classes when it comes to content. Obviously various bug fixes are their main concern.

I understand that some people will never be impressed. I never disagreed that cities were content but as it pertains to a basis of need, you obviously aren't really playing the game for the game. Or if that, not even partaking in the RvR or PQs of certain pairings. It's Eye Candy and it's Function. One city from WoW is all it needs to function, and one city in WAR has done just as well. If it doesn't come, I can settle for less under the long-gone teachings of Keep It Simple, Stupid.
