Hi guys, I'm a university student writing a Master's thesis on online gaming. I need a fair amount of respondents to analyze the data and defend my writing to a group of professors. I agree. I thought the survey was sort of creepy. It seemed to refer to people you play with as "opponants", as if everyone in the game was against you or something. Really, it seems to have been made by a guy who has very little experience with MMOs or the culture around MMOs. |

Can you tell me where I made that typo? Of course, I realize that not every MMO character have "opponents", but that's not the purpose of the survey. The survey only pertains to players who've chosen a path where they fought other players, and does not pertain to players who've chosen non-violent paths in the games they played. So, if you've played an MMO and has not fought anyone, please do not take the survey. |
