I completely agree with PhelimReagh. Although the Customer Service is bad.

Tribal wars is fun as hell, and runescape isnt going to get better, ever.

The only thing i don't like about RuneScape is the Customer Support which isn't there and of course some of the people in the community, but you have to choose the people you interact with by ignoring those "l33t pe0pl3" in the game.

If that’s the only thing you don’t like about runescape you need to play some games that don’t suck, and runescape is a policed state.

I wouldn’t go so far as calling it the worst game in history but it is a really bad game, like world of gay crap.

The part that ALWAYS confuses me is when people use the term "GRIND".If you enjoy a game and plan on staying in that game for a very long time,why then would you consider anything a grind?You are there to play the game no?like i said if you plan on making it your home for at least a couple years,time means nothing,it would be the same for everyone.I can see if you game hop and want to finish a game in 3 days ...lol.Single player games are meant to be finished,MMORPG's are community games that are meant to last.

If a game has no grind it is over far too quickly and defeats the purpose of a developer making money and it makes for no community,since everyone would fly through the game then move on.Look no further than AOC,they all cried about no content because they leveled to 50 FAR too quickly with no purpose to gaming what so ever.I sure hope nobody in there right mind believes a developer could make enough content to allow players to level up 50 levels every week,unrealistic expectation from anyone.

It has and you have probably been playing a really long time, when you invest a lot of time into an mmorpg its harder to quit, do what I did and play less and less time every time you play.

it is true i have been playing for a long time. i have even bothered becoming member. but it was not worth the price. i had nothing to do. almost all the minigames there stinked. castle wars stink. it's pointless to play.

ill try to do as you said pale. hopefully ill quit before it actually complety  forget about the real world. lol

Lol that's what I have been doing. Playing less and less. I admit it was and still is hard for me to quit but honestly I really don't play as much as I used to. Now, I might only log in maybe twice a week at the most. When I do log in its usually only for 5 to 20 mins at a time, so I barely play anymore. All I do is play  clan wars in f2p or talk to friends lol. Being f2p helps cause im not wasting money and it keeps me bored which means I wont spend too long on it lol.

I’m down to one day every three months and I’m only on for about five to twenty minutes each time but I still check the updates every two weeks. Its funny because they announced that they will only have two updates a month now, What’s even more pathetic is that they said it was to insure the quality of the updates, LOL! They are losing a ton of money and are laying off a huge amount of people and they had to find a good excuse/lie as to why they were cutting the updates per month.
 

Since I sold my account on Ebay, I don't play that game any longer but I still check on hi-scores too see what's hot and what's not.

i am about to only play rs when they have holiday events and only if the new update is good ill play some days for 1 hour.

It is addictive, but the stupidity of the Admins are definitely destroying that.

The thing that kills the addiction is the inability to trade/give stuff, and the inability to drop trade. That was it for me.

and of course the new models turn me off BIG TIME. I don't like the new player models, I prefer the previous ones. The new models look like BRATZ . I'm serious....they made it more "kid like" or "cartoonish" in a negative sense.

The new player graphics remind me of bad clay models trying to depict children, but that’s probably what they were going for knowing jagex.

truthfully i think the new model look great. o hale runescape for their genuisewave

lol jk. but the graphics are nothing to complain about. its the ability to trade that reduces my fun meter locater.lol

Good points OP. I agree 100%.

And for the peopel who think runescape can't go far or be like WoW cause WoW is a multi-billion dollar game then think about this. Runescape has over 4 million subscribers. Tally that up with the membership costs and look at the figures each month.
