......so I made a Marauder. I named him Astearoth, and entered the game. After 3 levels, I noticed my name was "Shomip", not "Astearoth". What the........ Anyone else had something like this? |

Asteroth is a character from the Soul Caliber series. Someone probably saw your name, and flagged it to a CSR who changed it :p |

It was not the exact spelling of the name though. I am not sure why they would change it on the fly without saying anything. Is there a name radomizer button that maybe you accidently hit before entering the world and changed it unknowingly? |

Technically, I didn't break any rule. Astearoth isn't trademarked, copyrighted, or whatever. But still, its weird. Especially since I'm not running any Addons or whatever. I'm gonna look into this :). Untill then, Shomip *sigh* it is. Kinda grows on ya :). |

Actually, In demonology Astaroth (also Ashtaroth, Astarot, and Asteroth) is a Prince of Hell. I Highly doubt the creators of Soul Calibur have any legal right over the name. |
