This game runs out of fun very quick I think it feels very much like a single player game.  The graphics are not much better then WOW. Except WOW is alot more fun then Warhammer. The ai is horrible mobs are floating they run back and forth for no reason. This game has alot of the same problems I think AOC has it doesnt feel like you are in a world. Except Conan does have great graphics and fun game play. I think even LOTRO is better then this game.  The Armor all looks the same at most levels and even at higher levels it all looks close and the bugs are worse at the higher levels. I have no reason to just hate this game in fact the opposite I really wanted this game to be good. I bought it and paid for 60 days. I posted a negative review when I was about level 10 and I thought maybe it wasnt fair to do that so early so I went on to level 40 and I feel the same. This game is a huge dissapointment.

40 already? only know of a few people who were there yesterday.  took some of the fastest levelers almost 6 days /played.  so if you really have put in 144 hours into a game that you already didn't like after the first 10 hours inside of 2 weeks? somehow i call BS on this post.

Actually there are alot of level 40s I did it in about 10 days played no BS

10 days played, 240 hours in 2 weeks, the math works out to you playing about 16-18 hours a day, and sleeping for 6-8.  and no, there aren't a lot of 40s already. they are few and far between, my server got its first just yesterday.

i might believe you if you like the game, people who like games can play pretty hardcore, but your entire point is that the game was unfun.  No one is going to believe you only ate, slept, and played WAR if you hated the game after the first few hours, and it never got any better for you.

my guild already has 3 level 40's so its not impossible.  Just depends on your determination and desire.  Plus skipping around between the race areas once you clear one of quests move to the same tier for another race and start at the beginning you can rack up xp quickly that way.

Yea I did rush through you are right and have a good point. That is just my play style I am one of those people who was 60-70 in wow in one week . I still have fun with WOW though. I really wanted this game to be good and I kept hearing dont judge it too early and by the time I hit level 30 I just said screw it I will go to 40. It just seems like a bad copy of wow.

yep, and i bet they liked the game, a lot.  every day more 40s pop up, but they are still few and far between.  out of hundreds of thousands of players you're looking at 1% of the population having reached 40, if that.

the OP is obviously making things up, just by looking at the kind of things they mention.  everything they said has simply been rehashed on the forums, don't even need to play the game to list off those things, just copy and paste other posts.

I don't think you are qulifyed to give a review of anything that requires writing skills.

The point of the game is the pvp/rvr, not the pve you raced through. if you didn't slow down to kill people your level in the different tiers, of course you would be bored. Also by leveling much faster ahead of people, you had no one around to fight. My friend had to go to an alt when he was in tier 3 because there just was no one around to battle.

You completely missed the whole point of the game. There probably won't be any significant fighting at 40 for a while until a lot of people get there which will be a while still. I see like 5 on my server and theyre probably very bored. I guess if they could get a few more mid 30s and they actually all group together they could  take a keep or something, but rushing through the game to just complain there is nothing to do is foolish.

There were 40's in 4 days or so already, they just used methods that were quickly disabled afterwards like the killing spree stuff.

If the OP really is 40 he is probably one of the level 40s with RR 5 or some such crap. 

Way to blow through the entire point of the game which is RvR and the fact that RVR starts right away.

Imagine being 60 in WoW the second week it came out.  What are you going to do?  Raid?  No because there's no one to do the raids with.  Quest? No you did all of them already.

PvP?  No because they didn't have a PvP system yet.

I don't see...how you made it to 40 tbh. The game is fun but I can't be on it for more then 3-4 hours a day. I'll usually get on for 2 1/2 hours, get off and go do something or hop on another game, then hop back on warhammer at night and knock out a few more hours daily. I try to atleast. I am leveling slow, only 1 level - 2 levels a day. Taking my time. Already HATING the grind. I would love to just level by rvr's but it's not possible right now cause destruction has been sucking all day in rvr's.

Anyways, that's beside the point. Point is you can hate the game and still play it because you enjoy some of the things about the game. Tbh, I dislike the game for many reasons. However, find myself playing it daily because of the pvp. I only wish I could pvp 24/7 in it and get exp 24/7 for pvping at level 14.

Btw, I think going slow in this game is a good thing. RVR is the most important factor of the game and if you only level, then obviously you don't know what the game is about. Even the developers said that you should try to keep RVR within a few levels of your main level. Some of these level 40's have a RVR of 5-15 and it will take them forever to get their RVR rank to max, LOL.

To say that the game "feels like a single player game"  is way off, .. The PQ's make this game great IMO because you are doing things with other people .. no other game so far that i've played has these kind of quest in them.  WOW for the most part has dungeons that people get together after they find a tank and healer and u quest it together, but then it seems most people quest by themselves otherwise.

Because of the PQ's i've participated with groups a whole lot more than i have in any other MMO to date.

WAR is great for guilds also, because you can do the PQ's or the RVR areas and Senerios together where as in WOW most the people never even wanted to do BG's together because most hated PVP. .. i've not found that to be the case in WAR, most are there because of the RVR.

So its funny u felt like it was a single player game when i find it so easy to get into groups and do all of these things i've mentioned. The "find a group" UI makes it so easy to not only find groups in the area you are in, it also makes it so easy to join them.

The game isn't for everyone, but i love it so far because i don't feel like i have to level by myself to 70 before i can take part in arena's & BG's etc.

I don't buy it.  How you can even COMPARE this game to AoC is beyond me.  This game has enough material to keep you in new areas and doing new things long enough to get to level 40 3 or 4 times.  AoC couldn't even get you to max level ONCE.  Sure, it was pretty, but it was a miserable game after you left Tortage.  With WAR I find myself with more to do than I can possibly complete.  Are there issues with WAR? Sure there are.  Not many from my view though.  I have very few computer problems with this game.  Maybe one crash every 2 days.  (AoC it crashed about once an hour or more)  You complain about the AI on the mobs, but I haven't had many problems with it myself.  You do see the occasional mob that is stuck or skipping between 2 points, but you saw that with WoW and it is 4 years old. 

Did you really even play this game?  If you are at 40 how did you get there so fast?  I'd guess that if you DID play WAR and you are 40 you did it by grinding and if that is the case you saw much less of the game than is there.  Also, if you did get to 40 by grinding PQ's or Scenarios or whatever then I find your review to be not valid.

My question is.  What's your Renown Rank?  If it's sub 30 then you have a LOT of catching up to do once the people that have high Renown Ranks get up to 40.

I would suggest getting your Renown Rank up.  There's 80 Renown Rank levels, and gear and rewards the whole way up.

I play WoW and War right now and plan on paying for, and playing both. 

I'm sick of fanboys coming in all the time saying War fails.

WoW had one raid instance. (I could be wrong, was UBRS the only thing in and
MC patched in or was MC in from the get-go?)

No instance pvp, and really was bugged and the graphics engine had just
as many hangs and hook-ups as War does now.

I love both games, can't wait for WotLK and patches for War but...

Give it up! War is an awesome game and more PvP slanted. Pve is really
nice on War just dungeons aren't as long and there isn't as many pve raids.
(But there is PvE Raid bosses.)

It's amazing how much hate new mmo's get because little kids get uneasy
that people will leave the game they are currently playing cause mom and
dad won't pay for two mmo accounts.

OP, just post your in-game characters name so we can look it up on the WAR Realm War site.

How much RvR have you done? Scenarios?

If you just ground through the PvE content, then you're missing out on 2/3s of the game.

And if you don't like the game, just cancel your sub.  They haven't billed you for the past 30 days portion yet anyway!
