I played the game at launch and was very disappoited like alot but we don't need to rehash. So basically has anything changed for the better in AOC after Tortage ? If someone who has been playing can post some solid facts about life after 20 would be greatly appreciated. Who knows maybe I might give it another go. Thanks and have fun! |

Check the forums,the only new thing aparently is pvp patch wich sucks from what I hear. |

Well, the buggs and mem leaks are down. There is some more quests and the old ones are fixed up, a lot more voice acting outside tortage, PvP points and armours, the Feats seems to be working now. Ymirs pass will hopefully hit the testserver next week. On the down side theres some whining about the gem nerf and gold farming is tougher now. And you still have to go to dungeons to get good looking armour. |

Past lvl 20 the game became solid.. Many new group and solo quests all over the regions and revamped instances and dungeons -Black Castle : awesome group dungeon(instanced) -Pyramid of the ancients : awesome revamped solo instance -Sanctum of the Burning soul : Nicely designed group dungeon(instanced) -Toidelbrach tomb(nice group dungeon) -instanced -Cistern -group shared dungeon -Main system -group shared dungeon etc etc...
the game gets better and better concerning PvE, they add new quests, and revamp many instances, and old content from scratch. Leveling its fun again, lvl 80 content still lacking a bit, but i hope they will get it improved. PvP its good, class balance still need tweaks. They plan to give the armor and weapons more effect in the gameplay(raising from 25% to 50% vs skill),and they plan to merge some PvE/PvP servers which lack population
Performance issues are almost non-exist with the last patching...

There have been many amendments lately and the game is coming together now that PvP and Siege is in place. The patch note lists are very long so read up yourself. What I'd like to emphasize though is that performance and stability of AoC is way up. AoC has higher FPS on my machine than WAR. |
