I'm an avid fan of the game and i'm wondering if anyone here in the forums is playing the game. The game totally rocks and I really like it. Especially the turn based system, I think it's a very new approach into playing mmorpg. (I'm a fan of rpg games hehe) So if anyone is playing, please reply here with your name so I can just  contact you guys cya!

well if you ask me, my logic about item shop game is that's the way that the company are rendering profits from us (players) There are many players in the game who buy items with their cash and then sell it in game for them to gain profit. So what I do is that I just earn money in game (grinding, craft etc) and then I buy from players items from the item mall. It's soo easy to earn money in atlantica trust me :)

I played the game, it was ok, certainly was not awesome in any respect.  When they added in the stamina feature that ended it for me.  Felt like i was feeding quarters to a machine to play.  If you call that a fun game, you have issues.

I was thinking about trying it out. I saw the advertisement for the open beta and all the prizes and I think I might win something.

certainly another shop game.. but it's new gameplay approach got me hooked.. i just don't know when the excitement will end for me.. the atlantica team better think of new ways to keep players glued to this game

No reason to they'll always have some amount of a player base just because it's free, and that player base will attract people who foot the bill and have people in it who do so.

I did for about a week, To be honest I didn't like it, Turn base combat is not my thing, The character customization is terrible, and It feels like My character is a hollow shell for some reason. It just does not have any umph, any volume as a character, Hard to explain, It does not feel solid to me. And Imo turn based went out of date in 2000.

Yeah, I just started playin yesterday and its really fun so far, it reminds me alot abuot final fantasy back in its peek. Really fun game, and I know Item Mall might change alot of it but hey, thats why its free

OT:

this game creates some issues almost several gamers argue. this makes the game a bit popular for now. their unique battle system is now a huge topic, yet no idea if it is good or bad.

I have to admit I was extremely sceptical when I first saw the ad at our site. Just another F2P failure incoming...

But I found myself stuck with it for 14 hours straight with 45 minutes of break. It really is much more than I ever hoped. I've been a final fantasy fan from early on and the combat system is very much like, if maybe not so diverse in different skills&spells.

I was also afraid of the eqipment system with 1 set of  armor for every 10 levels for everyone. But the enchanting system really saves alot and is quite fun.

I'm also on Mycenae and playing with Pantura, after one day level 22, but that just miiight change today :)
