Hey all, I played Eq2 almost 2 years ago. What made me leave was the zoning times, and the overall performance on my rig. Now, my rig is outdated, however if i could get mid performance out of eq2 id be happy, becasue im getting a high-end computer for college within a few months.

My specs are

Intel p4 3.06 GHz

1.5G of ram

ATI Radeon x1650 512mb

Any help is greatly appreciated.

EQ2 is old as dirt, so you should be just fine.

I might get back in to it when the expansion comes out in November, and my gaming computer is a P4 2.66 with 1024 of memory with an ATI X1950 Pro, and it runs fine on that.

Uhh,, since when?

It's ALWAYS worked reliably and accurately for me, and pretty much everyone I know that has used it and told me "thanks" bleah bleah etc etc.

Maybe you just don't understand it, /shrugs.

Neither here nor there.

Another half gig of ram would make all the difference..it'll run with what you have, but it'll move nicer with a bit extra ram inside.

I'm not so sure mate - I'm no expert on this, but I played this for a while earlier this year with a P4 3.2 ghz, two gigs of decent RAM and an 8600GT and it looked bloody awful. And everything on the system was optimised.

Somebody said something then about this game being very reliant on your processor, I don't know, but while this guy will certainly be able to play it, I think it might well look a bit rough.
