Let's cut to the chase and cast a census on this game. I always thought you'd get craploads of new players if you simply allowed the best players to actually get to be arnold shwarzenneger. That won't happen FINE so let's get a picture of what you want...

WoW isn't a sandbox... what the heck are you on about? Part of the problem with this game is that it was trying to hard to be like WoW in the first place.

I was hoping  to try AoC at SOME point...but when I see nothing but WoW comparisons...well kick my ass and call me Susan...

You make this poll as if the game is failing. AOC has plenty of players along with the best PVP system to ever be in a MMO.  All of the WOW players that keep coming here all worried because WOW is bleeding subs to AOC is proof enough that AOC is a great sucess.

With the addition of death knights that should just about finish it off as people will get tired of seeing in chat " LF1M for for Arthas have 9 DK's so far". Why wouldnt everyone want to play a hero class and its new to add to that factor. Warhammer isnt even worth mentioning as it has already topped its population and will slowly drop from here anyway.

Are you really that delusional? It's always fun seeing you post on the AoC boards, or here, because it's always so incredibly off kilter.

First off, AoC is far from a 'great success'. It has many faults, it also has many pros. But to sit there and say Warhammer isn't even worth mentioning because its population has topped off is absolutely retarded. I know it will never reach the subscribers of WoW, but I have no doubt it will pass AoC.

There just isn't enough to do in Age of Conan, and theres too many bugs. Bugs, and lack of content, that's the problem with the game.

I'm curious, do you find you sway many people with your extremist propaganda? I mean, sure you love the game, FC can do no wrong in your eyes, fine. Don't you think your endless extreme repetitive posts probably do more harm than good for AoC?

I know personally, i'd almost join the game again to just KOS you, so maybe it is working!

Well it already passed AoC. The question is just by how much.  I dont think Warhammer will get over 1 million subscribers, it's too much pvp focused and you can only attract so many of those. But to beat AoC you only need something like 100k subscribers and there is just no way WAR is gonna drop subscribers at same speed as AoC and probably WAR can manage 500k+ first years. In a few months you will probably just need 50k to beat AoC if it's still around to be beaten.

LOL...I agree....WoW Sandbox? Another sure kid from the WoW generation that every game needs to be WoW in order to be decent.  Perhaps the OP meant more open as WoW...not all instanced...then I would agree. But an open world like WoW is not sandbox.

ADD arnold shwarzenneger to the game probably would help, but thats funniest thing I have read on the forums too date! But try it and see what happens! I may actually play if I see arnold knocking out a camel by punching it!

Why have the face from some serious bad C movies, when you can have the face from 30-50(?) years of comics, based on the books, and not something a screenwriter(of C movies) tossed together to try earn a buck on some muscled guy who barely could speak Engrish.

C-Movies or C-Novels, what's the difference?

It wasn't that bad in 1982. Of course if you go see it now then it's far from spectacular.

But thats true for a lot of movies.

Funny fact: IMDB.com rating for Conan the Barbarian movie is the same as MMORPG.com rating for AoC, both 6.7

They should never, ever have opted for making a jigsaw puzzle out of the world solely for eyecandy / performance sake. I didn't bought the game to for graphics and effects, I bought the game because I wanted to play a gory, bloodspattered, adult rpg and try out the life of a proud, male chauvinistic barbarian bastard, an experience which has been very much toned down by lack of stability and imersion.

Playing WAR now and even if that doesn't look half as good on the eyecandy scale (apart from atmospere and art direction which are awesome) my wishes are catered to ten times better as in AoC.

Hes right WOW is NOT a sandbox game.  In fact in many instances one might say your choices in the MMO industry are SANDBOXES OR WOW clones.

DFO stands a good chance to pass AOC, even if it never releases.

Eve is horrible even compared to CONAN. I say add Arnold.
