beacuse i cancelled my account i would really like to know what people think of conan now?.

There are a load of negative posts about warhammer on the forums for conan yet i really can't understand why.(moderated i guess)

Arround 60 of us left conan and are having a blast in war and to be honest we can't understand why anyone is left playing conan.

It might not have the gfx of conan but as a whole its a much better mmo,what do you lot think?.

Im sure it was a simple misunderstanding all Funcom employees strive to provide outstanding forum moderation at all times and your concerns are important to them. Meh don't bother with them lol They can't complain about AoC because there under Martial Modertator Law. They still do however lol so I guess I shouldn't say can't. But if you like War stick with War Forums don't bother with AoC. Me I have no interest in War and barely any interest left in AoC. Im just hanging around to see if they pick up the pieces so I can re-sub or if it dies so I can laugh and point.  It's a fun side MMO deffinetly not main MMO worthy lol. War isn't my thing at all though sorry man.

PPL are welcome to slay WAR all they like.  There will be alot of ppl that will not or can not enjoy the game for many diffrent reasons.  The main point is that Mythic NEVER tried to hide anything about their game.  You could have come to MMORPG.COM two weeks before launch and talk to ppl that were playing the beta and liked it or didnt like it.  YOu could have gone on to Youtube and watched movies of diffrent aspects of the game that you might like or hate.

This is what FUNCOM directly PREVENTED PPL from doing.  They did NOT lift NDA cause then the truth would have come out.  They kept their official forums CLOSED ( I mean you could not even read them) for everyone other than those that bought the game already.  

And at the same time ppl were STILL buying the retail version of the game that was saying ... "First MMO with a DX10 support" on the box.

There is a huge diffrence in this.  The sad part is that websites like MMORPG.COM actually were taking PART in that scam that FUNCOM managed to set up.  Thats something that MMO websites hopefully will be taking into reconsideration after this launch.  Should we (including gaming websites) be honoring NDA when its not gonna be lifted ? 

  Might it not be that most of the haters have left AOC and cannot post any more ?   Oh gee, that is a logical assumption, we can't have that ....

  While my maching was not quite powerful enough to run AOC, I thought was ok, nothing revolutionary, but an acceptable MMO with great graphics.   But my guild (who are present in several games) is still very active in AOC and lots of people are having a lot of fun.

I'm sure there are people that do indeed still enjoy playing AoC, but I am not one of them.  I played AoC for 60 days, trying my hardest to enjoy it, but I couldn't and ended up unsubbing from my own lack of enjoyment.  I've heard they fixed many of the stability issues, and added a PVP patch introducing pvp levels/gear but AoC just wasn't my cup of tea: Felt too much like a single player slash and hack action game, and was missing too many rpg elements (not to mention massively multiplayer elements) for my taste.  I might check back in 6-12 months if they offer some type of free month preview for former account holders, but as it is now, I won't be resubbing.  I'm currently having fun in WAR, I didn't go into WAR with high expectations, but as long as I get my fun out of it, Mythic can have my subscription money.

Here HERE.. we may not have alot of power as gamers, but we definately get to decide who gets our gaming $$. Well said Sir!

To be honest we are having a blast in war,for the most part its polished.I wont be going back to age of not a lot to do at 80.

I play AoC, we actually got quite a few players back in my guild already of those who left for WAR but we are a PvE server so it is probably very different with the PvPer.

As for why some bash WAR, so do many WAR players bash AoC also, it is just immaturity. But it depends on what you call bashing, if someone said they didn't like it it really ain't bashing, troll posts that it's totaly crap is.

I don't think it's a better game but my taste and your's isn't the same. I like EQ2 and not wow also, and Tori Amos not Christina aguilera. Not a problem either some of my close friends play WAR and we never argued about which game that is best because a question like that really have no right answer.

Which game that have best Fps on a certain computer or have highest textures, those have right answers

Maybe I'm just picky.  But I disliked both games but for different reasons.

Funcon promised and hyped a game that never existed.  They created videos for their official Hyborian Insider using graphics not even in the retail game.  Everything they show the press and public then and now are in DirectX10 while DX10 has never been available in the retail game.

They lied and lied and lied about features that didn't even exist.  IE: Mercenary system, drunken brawling, Kingship, apartments, blood money, brothels, 1500 armor sets, etc... etc...

I may not like WAR either but at least I have respect for them and hope they stomp the shit out of AOC.

WAR may have shitty graphics, stiff modeling, and be just as boring as AOC.  At least they're honest.

Mythic may be lots of things but at least they are honest.  I preordered they let me try the PREVIEW weekend after which I promptly cancelled.  No hard feelings.  At least they didn't have to lie their balls off to sell as many copies as AOC.

Feel the exact same way! So what are we waiting for now, Darkfall=)
