Hmm, for every Darkfall fanboy there was a Darkfall hater or vapor troll. Very many people would just throw Darkfall to 1 because up until very recently, it was the popular thing to hate. There is very little hype for this game. Only the hardcore mmorpg gamers know this game even exist, the mainstream gamer has never even heard of the game.

The mainstream gamer has never left WoW or is even aware of other games until recently. I can't count the number of WoW players that didn't even know there was an MMORPG genre. This is because WoW is a game of noobs, cold hard fact, not bashing anything. And most of those noobs weren't around for games of higher quality, so they don't really care.

 LOL so true so many WoW players didnt know anything like WoW ever existed, i got in to the WotLK beta because i de-subs WoW and i guess they gave it to me to get me back anyways i showed my friend it (i was unimpressed compared to WAR) he said that nothing could EVER beat WoW. i laughed

My conclusion is that us DF fans are disgusted by most of the other mmorpgs that we consider them to be pure shit not to be touched with a ten foot pole, and therefore we give them a low score.

Some of the fans of these games, who likes to whack off to anime themed mmorpgs, then give DF a 1 in score, and come to these boards and start crying about how we dehyped their wow or Lineage clone of the month.

Truthfully there are no pvp focus games in the pipe that I'm aware of and it certainly helps there are people like myself who eagerly anticipate this games release for it's open world and what they contend they are going to offer as far as content. If this game has as much as they claim they are going to double most AAA mmo's at launch which is worthy of some hype.

I plan to go play Darkfall. I do hope for a game full of freedom and with a mature community. Things like your comments are not showing too much of this.
Don’t take this last comment too personal, really my annoyance is coming from finding too much lack of respect to other opinions coming from people saying they are going to play Darkfall. Showing respect to different opinions show signs of maturity, the opposite is true too.

Why is everyone bickering about this? can't we all accept that some people beleive Darkfall will come out and some people will think differently, also people should not rate down other games because they think darkfall is better, I support darkfall all the way but it may end up suffering fable syndrom which is the last thing we want ( though fable is one of the greatest RPGs ever in my opinion don't get me wrong).  We must learn to accept that different people like different things, I like the anime based mmos, the so called "asian grind" mmos  and I still look forward to Darkfall eagerly.  We should be mature and rate up the game we like with one acount, not rate down all the others because other people might like 'em.  And please don't rate down a game you have never even played. 

I highly doubt anyone is making alts to downrank other games, it's just a new thing for the DF haters to troll this forum about now they can no longer say it's vaporware.

No worries. To me Aion looked nothing like a Sandbox and sounded like another grind game. I definetly do not like the Flying aspect of it. Some people may like that style of game but I prefer sandbox's. Thats primarily why ive been waiting on DarkFall. It is in fact a sandbox.

It has levels and such which is a standard in Grind games. Im sorry that to me makes a grind game.  I guess I could be incorrect about it being an Asian game. It realy looked like one to me but I could be wrong. In my eyes with the information on there site I view it as a Grind Game as I would any game with levels and classes. Sandbox's lack these things for a reason. So no I can't say I see Aion as a Sandbox. These are my opinions of the game are you saying i'm not allowed them?

Has that Asian/Anime feel to it for me atleast. So I see it as an Asian Style Grind Game. I guess I had a bit more information than you thought huh lol.

Oddly enough after doing a brief ammount of research I found out that Aion is being Developed in Korea....... So I guess since it doesn't meet the requirements for a sandbox and does for the grind style MMO's and is being developed in Korea.... that would have made me dead on..... lol so I can now say
