The last time I read about the game, there were no cars in TMO. (I think the last time was up to a year after it was released.) We complained because car chases were a big part of the movies (at least one movie, anyway.) Vehicles were still integral in the plot. Now, the game has gotten pretty far along (I'm guessing.) Therefore, do we have cars yet? Have they finally gotten in the game? Warning: I could be on NoDoz caffeine pills so I hope I don't post anything outrageous! I dedicate this song to The Matrix Online & Asheron's Call 2 -- the games I hoped to play someday but had bit the dust before their prime.

Edit: Well, I guess you could just stand next to one of the ones parked forever next to the curb "yours". Or maybe chase after one of the NPC driven cars screaming "Thief!!". Those are the only two ways I see someone having a car of their own in TMO.

My guess would be because the way they have made the game engine it would be impossable for something like this to be done. On top of that you now have to factor in the fact that we only have a small SMALL number of devs (I think two but it has never been made official) and it's just something they can't do.

Why would anyone want to drive cars? theres hyper-jump, even at low lvls you can easily leap a building as long as you keep the skill up to you lvl then its an effective way to get around and it both looks and feels cool.
