Let's see, you have two level 80's in AoC, which is one of the most incomplete, overhyped, unpolished, and buggy MMOs ever released, and you recently complained about how slow the leveling is in both Vanguard and Warhammer, so you obviously want a game you can zip right through at warp speed.

Art is subjective, but its obvious you are drawn to the realistic style of AoC and Vanguard. That's fine, but the Warhammer world is still very colorful and creative, whether it fits your personal taste or not.

I might also add that you are wrong about the power of Warrior Priests... I've taken them down solo as a Marauder.

Finally, I have little reason to believe you've spent much time in the game, and that you know very little about the Warhammer world and lore.

So, this pretty much leaves you with little credibility when it comes to your opinion.

There just forum PvPers looking for another AoC.

Not everyone liked DAOC either.

I am strict in picking the right MMO for me. I have tried just about everything, and WAR is one game that I feel that I will play for a while. It's PvE/PQs are spectacular, it's like a mini-dungeon. The quests are not bad either. So far, I have mostely played PvE, haven't dug into the PvP yet. As soon as I hit 20 though, im diggin into the PvP. So far, I love what I am seeing.

OP, the only valid explination for your rants you have given so far is the fact the graphics are not on the COD4 side. How about you try to make an MMO with COD4 graphics? AoC? Remember?

Ok after reading this post i would like to say one thing wow players have this problem with people coming into there forums and posting rant about a top notch game. Lets be honest this game isnt perfect but it is a lot of fun if you give it a chance. Also not a full week since the game was released. World of warcraft had its problems when it launched as well every game will i played wow for 3 years and this is the only game i have found remotely fun at all in those 3 years.

Dont make rants about warhammer until you actually see it fail because as of right now its not. Go play something else the op just wants attention because he never gave any real arguments lol. So go have fun doing something you love and leave war alone

What was AoC at for a few weeks after launch?  Somehwere 8+.  We look back and laugh.

WAR will drop below 7.5 and the top 5 list within 2 months, at most.

Its not just the terrible grafic its also the slow fighting speed, the long casting time for spells and the stupid design of the RvR instances. Its also the 12 year olds that came from WoW to play something new and piss off everyone.

This game is good for 12 year olds as it is mentioned on the Box.

I have a QuadCore 3.2Ghz, 4GB, 1.2 TB HDD, 9800GTX2 and this game is running on 1 core + some VGA memory at best. Its a joke form Mythic , nothing else.

What you're basically saying is WAR is going to get its share of the same crowd virtually every other MMO's forums out there gets: a group of people who can't be at peace knowing that others enjoy a game they don't like. It drives them nuts that not everyone thinks the same way they do, so they go on a rampage, brow-beating everyone with their "factual opinions" (quite the paradox) on just how bad it is... because they say so.

Actually, I'm doing just that, and I'm having a blast with it, thanks!  VG kicks ass, looks great, and has tons of content to keep me busy for a LONG time. 

I do agree with the OP on most of what he said.  The game is boring IMO and the graphics do suck for the most part.  It would have been nice if they would have released high res textures and options for those of us with machines that could handle it.  Here's hoping they eventually do just that.

I think I kinda understand this kind of behaviour. When you pay 60$ for the game, you god damn hope it wasn't a waste of money. If you don't like it, of course you'll be pissed.

Everything you said is true.

I look at my other options.... and realize i dont really have any. Thus I can enjoy the WAR pvp because i have friends who play with me. With out them, a guild, I also could not imagine many playing this game for any length of time.

Its fun when you know who you play with, but really it isnt anything new. Its simple, its pvp, the same kind of stuff you can get with counter strike matches, only its some what of an mmorpg. I dont expect much, so i have no huge expectations to ruin the game for me.

In this day and age, mmorpgs have become dumbed down instant gratification pieces of childish crud. You have to adapt lest you get stuck in the complex gaming of the past.

I'm pretty sure that every single game that ever exsisted would be rated poorly if not for the fans (fanbois) of that game. I like the game and don't give a rat's ass about your opinion. This is nothing but a troll post, but apparently the mods don't actually do anything around here to actually moderate trolls, so rock on.

EDIT: Why exactly do you trolls choose to live and fill this forum with these useless flame threads if you hate the game as much as you say. Get a damn life and move on.

My Vanguard Account is active and i am playing it. I gave this Warhammer crap to my girlfriend now, she wants to give it a try. I have some 30ish characters in Vanguard. no way someone could compare the warm atmosphere of VG with the candy land grafic from Warhammer.

Also the Fighting system in VG is years ahead of this warhammer crap. 

 

 

 

I gotta agree that vg is way deeper then Warhammer and far more satisfying.  However warhammer does have it's appeal it is a good casual fun game.  I find it is more fun to drop into warhammer for ah hour or so and do a scenario or two and a few quests.  It does get dangerously close to the mindless wow questing though if taking in long spurts.  VG on the other hand is far more satisfying with a good group and a nice epic quest.  I just finished the CIS quest tonight on my 31 bard and it was great.  CIS is like an 18-19 step group oriented epic quest.  

Anyway the graphics are not what makes or breaks a game for me.  It is about the fun playing it that is most important.  WH is a pretty solid fun game.  I'm not sure how I'll feel at lvl 40 but so far I'm having fun with it.  I'll say that it appeals to me far more then AoC did.  But war is like fast food where VG is like a steak dinner.  I want both at different times :)

LOL! So you're saying that fans make up the game? In that case, Halo would be the best game in the world while little wonders, such as Castle Crashers (just an example), would suck.
