At the moment i'm playing AoC and i'm wondering if i should give Warhammer a go.

I work in the day and don't have a lot of time to play on the P.C during the week, this is why AoC has not got boring for me and since the pvp patch wear you can get rewards from pvp the game looks to be shaping up.

So the main question i want to ask for all the people playing Warhammer at the moment will you still be playing WAR at Christmas time ?

I will still be playing WAR by Christmas, question is will you still be playing AoC?  If you don't see yourself there down the road, come to WAR and give it a shot.

Probaly yes, but... I am not big into the fact its a very soloable game. I like group based games, so I guess thats why Final Fantasy XI still ranks my #1 game. Warhammer is definatly worth buying tho.

Warhammer is so much more fun than AoC, it's not even remotely funny. I'd say stop wasting your time and money with AoC, and at least try WAR. I'm sure you will like it, especially if you like PvP.

You amuse me I watch your posts Coyoteturkey...you really should try the Group Features int he game doing the standard cheap PvE quests and some scenarios is like only a quarter of the experience.

People tend to forget, omit, or not realize that the game has a ton of different ways you can play the game...if you dont want to group you don't have too and you can do a good bit of the content (it does take longer by yourself and PQ's can't be fully enjoyed since there are some that are down right impossible to solo or do with a group smaller than 12 people dont let people fool you there are PQ's out there that are different than the Kill X, find X kill boss ).

IF you want to group you can and you get to see pretty much all the content.  Some things like Seiging, etc just can't not be enjoyed alone and their public Group feature makes it pretty easy to find people to play with.  Granted alot of noobs and elitist guilds neglect it but *shrug* thats their own fault.

Please Refer to Doom Cat with all conspiracies & evil corporation complaints. He'll give you the simple explination of..WE"RE ALL DOOMED!

They are basically the same tweaked game (theme park casual lite solo quest grind PvE and consentual zoned/ mini game PvP with basic crafting and none of the frills you would get with a long established world)  with different skins, so you choose.

If you like to solo all the time and only want to ghost through GPS led quests, with PvP to break up the lonely monotony, might as well stay with AoC. It does that as well as WAR.

Of course, if I wanted to solo all the time I would play The Witcher. It's really very good. Or Fable 2. That looks good as well. Some people also like Oblivion, can't say I'm a fan though. I think I am rambling off topic now...

Just as a thought though, despite what people will tell you 'fun' is subjective, it is not a decsription when used on it's own.

If it helps though, WAR runs better.

I like it alot !

More fun when you get in a group and even better if you find a good guild!

Its up to you how to lvl up and theres so many ways in doing that here!

Lower lvl areas are kinda bla- after you get  past 6 you see the spells -ect looks really good.

Taking back the area doing RVR is fun !   pvp fights are good..  Heck i got a green drop killing someone in a RVR zone.  hehe

Yes there is player looting, its just not there own stuff, which is really cool!

Its all up to you, and if you find a Charter that you like !

I played AOC and well was ok for me, i felt closed in with the loading of the zones got to much for me, so i say if you like AOC you Like this game..

Anyway feel free to look me up if you do get it, i play an engineer..  There fun and yea i get owned, i just cant stop playing him !

take care.

Its only worth it if you play destruction atm. Their classes are the attractive/OP ones atm and the servers are HEAVILY scewed in destructions favor.

It seems most of the order people do not want to rvr period. Every single zone on every single server is ruled by destruction.

Not sure what mythic is going to do about but at the present  moment thier message is clear. Roll destruction or dont play the game.

Going to play Warhamme till the end of the time but the thing that I wanted to say was that. Age of Conan doesn't have as much as end game indepth as warhammer online. In warhammer you can PvE, crafting end game, Warhammer online end game RvR, scenarios, but honestly ya know. If it were me I'd still be with Age of Conan if it were popular, but it's just not so WAR all the way cause it's more popular.

I love Final Fantasy XI! Haha. I just got Warhammer the other day, though, and it's okay. I had AoC over the summer, and I liked that, also. I guess it depends on what you're looking for in the game... I unfortunately had no time to play AoC when I had it, but now that I've got some time, I'm giving Warhammer a try.

hmmm you still can find servers that have good numbers for Order. On my current server (though I am going to move) it was even between order and destruction and in two out of three scenarios order won. Also, as Order, we controlled our zone quite a few times last night though it was always a hard battle it seemed.

So it's not just about destruction. Still, as someone had said, destruction has a bit more "rock and roll" to it's art design and classes. I think if you play Order (like me... who by the way feels the dark call of destruction whispering in my ear but I won't pay heed) then you might have a different sensibility as to aesthetics.

Or as someone else said, Order is shining and good and Destruction is sort of emo. ; )

Probably not.  I'll probably be back to playing Vanguard.  War will be great till 40 and for awhile doing RvR but inevitably RvR/PvP just gets boring to me and I need more content.  So in 2-3 months I'll be done and go back to VG which seems to have a lot more content then most games.   By december I'm sure it will have even more new stuff so thats where I'll no doubt end up.
