Make the game worth playing. Have a more interactive feel to the game similar to AoC and make it darker then anything people have seen. Im talking full out carnage. Time of War or somthing. Well i want a everquest 3 just because it will be the title that remakes the Everquest series. Everquest 1 was a sucess while 2 is a decent game it just was that decent. SOE will learn from this and make somthing spectacular and it will be the next big MMO IMO. unfortunetly it will more then likly be a PS3 or PS4 game.

ALSO sex and violence sells. All the die hard mmoers are adults now and we arn't kiddies anymore we want to see the violence and blood. Well at least us americans do.

Please dont do that! anything with eq3 in the title and i start to prepare for loos of job/girlfriend/life and anything else to do with the outside world.

EQ3 is just a dream! or a way to tease people like me.

yeah its a tease for me too. I would so be in heaven if i was taking into the back and seen it being developed. Im always going to have a spot in my heart for Everquest.

I hope they don't make an EQ3 as I'll more than likely be disappointed. SOE have openly said they think consoles are the way forward, so I can imagine alot of the design decisions will be heavily influenced by console.

EQ3 has already been released, its called Vanguard

Lets see EQ2 flopped, Vanguard/eq3 flopped.  No i dotn think they will eb making anymore pc mmos anytime soon, unless they buy failing mmos.  Maybe they will buy Aoc of funcom, who knows.

Vanguard is not eq3 friend it has very little in comparison to Everquest so to call it eq3 is way of target. Even eq2 doesnt feel like a sequel, rather a different game altogether.....when people say eq3 they generally mean the real succesor to Everquest :) the game that all us EQ vets want!

Consoles are the way to go.  PC gaming has been a dying breed for some time now.  Its too expensive to maintain a high end gaming PC to play the latest and greatest.  I mean I have seen several threads of people complaining about not wanting to upgrade their PCs anymore to play a certain game.  This will be eliminated by moving to consoles.

Aye, I understand peoples concerns as PC technology evolves fast, but consoles are very limiting IMO. Mostly the reason that led me to quit AoC was all the console based game design. My main concern would be SOE making alot of these mistakes in EQ3 or whatever.

vanguard isnt EQ3 nor was it even developed to be a SONY game. It was a microsoft game and they backed out of it because it wasnt playable at the time it was spose to be so they said hey we aint funding this. And good ole brad went to EQ and pulled his favor to get it released at SOE. So saying its EQ3 is retarded.
