Probaly like many others, I am experiencing tons of problems, expecially crash wise when zoning or entering scenario's.  The game seems very buggy to me, and I havent seen any major updates as of yet.

link, or it didn't happen.

you have no idea how many people are having problems.  even if you look at ALL the fansites and compile all the complaints on them -- you have NO CLUE how many people are having problems.

like... ooo.. invisible mobs with names like "toksomethingmob" that can kill you and you can attack, but can't see or loot.

scenarios ending and you're just chilling in a scenario for 10-20 minutes afterwards, with it telling you repeatedly that you can't access that area.

playing the game, minding your own business and not only desktop crashes, but also you might just end up randomly back at a character select screen.

having to scroll down and click acceptance of the end user agreement every blooming time you log on.  i like when it makes the server select screen pop over the end user and it let's me pick a server and character, but won't let me enter the game before i click on the end user agreement.

those are just annoying ones off the top of my head.

oh wait, almost forgot -- ignore feature that seems to make the gold spammers you've ignored -- message you MORE... then you think you didn't ignore them and it seems that /ignore a second time on the same person takes them off the ignore that wasn't working in the first place.

yeah, no problems at all, because there's no centralized forum for people to go to for help/complaints/whatever.

i want to love this game, but the lack of customer support makes me think, "wow, two SOEs... really?"

and yes, the warhammeronline.com help section thingie exists but isn't very helpful.  rather like the ingame non-help.

could we please get correspondent writers and moderators, on the eve forum at mmorpg.com, who are well-versed on eve-online and aren't just passersby pushing buttons? pretty please?

The amount of people having problems is extremely small compared to those having hardly any problems at all.

Anyway to the op: Everything they are doing, every patch, and everytime they bring the servers down they are working on stability, and background stuff to make the game smoother and less buggy so yes they are working on this and updating it constantly.  They don't release patch notes for stuff like this.

The /ignore issue is being addressed and they are aware of the issue.

None of the other issues addressed here, have I ever experienced or had anyone in my guild (200+) experienced for reasons that couldn't be explained (drivers, etc...).

Oh and the EULA thing was addressed.....it is due to legal reasons and it really doesn't matter.

i'm sorry, i guess you missed where i did something like asked for a link?

weird... every time i run into strangers in PQs and scenarios and even out doing RVR stuff, i'm hearing different people on different servers, and different factions complaining about all sorts of problems.

don't think i've hit a scenario yet that at least one person didn't make at least a passing comment about something jacked.

but i'm glad that you know better.

it's not worth it, between fanbois and viral posting by idiots... make up whatever fanciful items you want about how bug free and wonderful this game is.

http://www.warhammeronline.com/index.php   <<< there and the herald section are the only official places i know of to look for information.

you people in this thread that know it all -- where EXACTLY are you getting your information?   links or please stfu with lies already.

i want to get fixes for me and my friends and ingame/official automated/postie thing are not the most helpful crap.

i honestly don't want to be out there trusting random internet experts that, quite honestly, probably don't know a damn thing.   i'd love to be able to trust official people, but they're not really being very helpful and their site/faq/all the crap on their site where you can go to for techie support and other help, really don't cover enough TO be helpful.

having said all that, pass out some official links to the stuff you're all talking about, or please, just yell for mommy to come bring you snacks to the basement and we'll eventually all cancel (oops, too late for a bunch), or find the help we need.

I keep hearing about all these bugs but have only encountered one CTD first day of release when I tried to use my return book.  I've played numerous scenarios and haven't gotten stuck in one once.  I've seen teleporting mobs (once in a while) but haven't experienced any unatackable mobs that kill you.  I even rarely get any stuttering or lag except for small bits during large scale PVP.  There are quite a few small bugs that don't interfere much with my enjoyment, but others may feel diferently.  Also 5 rl friends who I play with have not encountered any CTDs (yet at least).  I don't doubt they're experiencing these CTDs, but the majority of folk in game I've talked to ingame have not experienced them often at all.  My computer is barely midrange, but I'ved a hell of lot less problems with WAR then I did with AoC (and even then, I didn't encounter unplayable bugs/ctds/etc).

I am just speaking from experience, but it has been a good launch and the people having problems are a very tiny percentage if basing it on everyone posting on the most used forums which is a huge customer base for a survery.

Most of the people have a subpar system, and just barely meet system specs or have too little ram.  It is largely a fault of the user over the developer.

This is not including GOA and EU.  That was a cluster$#*%(.

i played wow at launch and didn't have the first problem for a few months, while my friends/family that played had tons of problems constantly.

i thought they were all drunk or stoned, because i NEVER had any of those problems.

until the day i did, and they just started piling up one after another and crazily enough, there was nothing anyone could do but wait for fixes... nothing anyone tried on any computer would help.

so grats and kudos to you guys that aren't having problems.   big ups.

and thanks for telling me the problems don't exist.  i love being lied to by people that, well, enjoy lying for no apparent reason at all in the world?

i'm sorry, 1.5 million boxes sold, right?   exactly how many 100s of thousands of people posting in that huge forum customer base you're referring to?

oh, just a few hundred?  well, golly gee willikers batmanuel, i feel so much better having the experiences of the couple of dozen posts that you've read to comfort me in knowing that the problem is on MY side.

it's MY computers that are totally updated...  and going by recommended specs, only my crappy computer with the fx6200 card doesn't totally exceed recommended specs... but yeah i've only ensured everything has been updated, defrag'd, all PM type stuff taken care of completely, plus a bunch of advanced troubleshooting and PM done.  it's totally obvious that it's the fault of the PC, owned by an IT professional, looked at by 2 other IT professionals, that's my fault.  my bad.

damn, now you made me epeen about stupid stuff that you just AREN'T supposed to bring up online.  weird, it happens when "experts" tell you that it's YOUR side, when you've only messed with computers for ONLY the past two decades and have ONLY played online games since those silly BBS came out on those really really slow dialup modem thingamajigies.

i love being told that problems don't exist, or that a buggy game is MY fault, by some random person on the internet setting themself up as an SME.

but good to know that a few dozen posters, on a random unofficial forum/fansite or two... out of the 1.5 million boxes shipped... are having no problems.

you've been very helpful.  do you happen to have been in customer service at SOE previously?  i'm pretty sure i spoke to you on the phone a couple of times.

Few dozen?  I am talking about warhammeralliance, vnboards, and here.  It's well over 100,000 people, and it's really the only place people would post to take a survey.  You are acting a bit desperate.  All I said is that from my experience this has been a very smooth launch.  If you disagree than you can feel free to disprove me at which point I will say 'My bad.  You were right.'  because I really could care less.  Obviously this mission is very important to you.

Well based on your biography I dont understand why you are even trying to play this game. Its nothing like EvE.

And as for people lying to you - no-one in this thread has said problems dont exist. So maybe you could stop exaggerating and you might get a little more respect.

I am running a Core 2 Duo 6600 with a 512M 3870 video card, 2 gigs memory and WIn XP SP3. I havent had any crashes to desktop, i have experienced the occasional bug in game. I havent update my video drivers, sound card drivers or defragged in 9 months.

Perhaps a place to start would be to post your system specs, mention any software that might be running in the background - like anti-virus software etc.

The game runs well for me but when I am inside a keep during a siege with LOTS of players I have crashed to the desktop. It is the only time it has happened to me but it has happened a few times.

Other than that all is well. Order actually took back tier two keep for a while. That was fun.

Run a full file check, then come back and tell me if you still have crashes.
