I want to choose a class that can wield a 2h Sword and does decent damage. I also like the fact that chosen wears heavy armor. Am I choosing the wrong class if I expect to run around chopping people up with my 2h sword? Or am I just there to absorb damage?

idk since chosen is design for tanking but you can go all dread to do some more dps also it seem like you just want to do dps only. There's some classes coming out that can weild 2h and design to do dps like the orc choppa . Well that's just my thoughts

as a bright wizard i'd have to say, get dem der chosen away from me!

While you may not be the highest dps, you can still be a LARGE threat to squishies and dps.

Black Orc is much better suited for that play-style.  Chosen can tank like crazy, just cant dish out the damage a Black Orc can.  Black Orcs also get heavy armor.

thats not to say you cant use a 2h sword and chop people up.

This game reall stick true to its class type.  Tanks are to absorb damage and will not dish out very much, melee dps will do just that, but die fairly quick...

if you want quick kills you might want to select the chosen with the mutating arm, you wont be wielding any 2h weapons but your arm is upgradable and does add a lot of damage.

So when selecting a race/class make sure you take note on what gameplay stlye the class is, it reall does matter in this game.

As a fellow bright wizard, here is how to handle those pesky chosen tanks/melee dps's

step 1: damage absorb buff

Step 2: fire cage em

Step 3: if a tank...run like hell

If a melee dps, just kill him

I find myself solo killing melee dps's fairly easy if my combustion is hgih and i dont self nuke, while tanks you gotta just suck it up, fire cage and run.

Chosen are fine, you may find yourself frustrated at times with aura twisting though, if you choose to do it at all.

Personally *character concepts aside* id say 1h sword/sheild is much better than a 2h in pvp, because of the massive amount of damage you can tank just having a shield with you, not to mention they block those hard hitting bolt spells, which is usually what brings me down in a battle.

2h will obviously hit harder than a 1h, but you won't be alive long enough to get any of your work done, which is why I think sword/board is the better choice.

This is all my opinion of course.
