Well, from nordland tier 1 open rvr I have looted two capes, the original plan was to give one to my friend but that hasnt worked out, anyway, the new idea is to give them to two characters I am levelling, as the capes are only level 9. I have one person wearing one already, and I cant dye it, its just white, but in videos on youtube about armour dying and customisation I was told that the capes were white and ready to be dyed?

Thanks for any help.

There are dyable cloaks just like the rest of the gear not all items are dye able.  To be honest I dont know why they bothered making gear you can't dye *shrug*.

Hm.. yeah. Also, in the tier 1 area (im just levelling characters in tier 1 and leaving them atm) I see people with like red dyes, but they arent available on the dye page, how do you get these?

There are some renown cloaks, that you can dye, but im not sure were you get them from, the white ones that you can't dye get your guild crest on them, when your guild is high enough level to get one.

Some Dye colors (especially red, black, midnight blue etc) can only be Crafted or unlocked through guild benefits.   Check the Auction house if you have several gold to burn. Crafted  Dye's are big money since the pigments are random / rare offshoots from cultivation.
