are you sure.

i tried entering the ce registry code into my account so i can get my extra faces, libram, ect. but it then brought me to the option to pay with either a credit card or pre paid card.

Nope, everyone gets a freemonth, however the US customers have to enter a CC ora prepaid cardnumber to start their subs, but they don'tgetcharged until the sub is due after the free 30 days

Yes, every edition comes with a free month, but it requires either 1.) Your credit card information or 2.) Buying a Pre-paid time card. Now, if you buy the paid time card you have no choice but to pay for 2 months worth (with the extra month added on). But, with the credit card information, you are not billed automatically. If you wish, you can cancel your payments before your free month expires and not get billed.

I found this a little devious myself, but not a huge issue. Would be nice if I didn't have to give my credit card information but that's the only option I guess (unless you want to blindly pay for two months in hopes that you will be able to enjoy it for three, let alone one month as some people simply won't like this game). I guess the free month for MMOs is taking on a new meaning, now.
