Couple of notes after my first few days.

I deliberaly did not follow any hype or read any thing before launch, as i did with AOC.

So i bought this last week with zero conceptions about this game at all.

So basicaly im a totaly War virgin.

PQ`s =
Jump in and have a blast, every one wins.
Always a bit of loot from the reward side, which every time I think should i skip it or have a go i check the rewards vendor and every single time i spot some thing and think cool i got to have a go.
Rewarding to either grind solo or in a group.

Quests =
Quest rewards are all relevant to my class, (the amount of games I played to rewarded with an item I can’t use)
Group rewards are relevant to the group.
Personally I think the stories are quite cool.
Chance to unlock titles ECT from exploring and fulfilling quests.
I found my self at 17 going back and doing a full t1,t2 scenarios for another race just to see what unlocks I would find and gained 1 ½ levels in the processes in one night , purely from Quest xp.
I go round looking for new monsters and creatures just to add them to my tomb and see what they add and do.
Quests where you have to find x amount of items is wonderful, drop rate 100% oh I love it. If I need a wolf pelt I kill a wolf it actually has one, non of this kill 25 to find one.

RVR haven’t don’t to much yet went a couple of raids with my guild and they were a blast.

My char , seems there is always plenty of new amour to play around with and weapons to find and I have loads of new moves already.
Plenty of skills to play with tanking is great and oh I love the taunt its brill especially on pve.

Crafting, have to say personally its spot on , growing seeds I find and making pots from it, for the first time it doesn’t actually feel like a grind.

Crafting feels intresting then some thing i have to set my mind on and make time to do.

Graphics are okay but the game play is spot on.

Interesting thread...let me add my few notes after buying..

2 copys directly from EA themselves 9.01.2008 with ce and pre order beta codes..

never recieved beta codes..never recieved game..

after launch canceled the orders..money wasnt returned..

called up and dealt with the answering machine for a hour until I got someone on the phone..

repeat step 4..

repeat step 4..

repeat step 4..

finally they canceled the order...didnt refund the money..

repeat step 4..

refuned money..

2 boxes of warhammer 40k come in the mail yesterday along with 2 beta codes in email..

oops almost forgot repeat step 4 except..tell them to shove this $%%&^&*(* pos and no longer have the desire to play it.

Not sure here in europe its supplied by ea but another company.

But knowing EA i can belive it.

I used EA downloads for battlefield series, but was not paying the price they had this for sale on the web.

So i found it on my lunch hour from work in a game shop.

EA's Online store is a load of crock its not any indication of how the Game works or their Development houses.  They're seperate entities owned by the same parent.   Shame that they can't get their act together even Gamestop's online store is better...despite the fact their brick n morter stores suck major ass.

Yeah, don't let EA's crappy online store service deter you from playing an awesome game.
