WAR on Windows XP is using 1 Gig RAM MAX. Upgrading RAM without switching to another OS is a waste of money! The processor is very low end. I've seen it on a Athlon 64 3000+ and it ran choppy as hell. CPU and FSB are your bottlenecks atm if you ask me. |

TV tuner didnt affect performance of your card directly (maybe just little), but TV tuner part of your card is quite expensive. So GPU part there (= real 3d graphic acccelerator) is weaker and slower than it could be on the card without TV Tuner for the same price. TV Tuner provide option to catch TV from cable, air or HDTV (depends on concrete type) and doesnt affect game performence at all (and if so than in negative way). So if you dont want to watch TV on your PC, you can get better 3D graphic accelerator for the same price (eg 4850 as mentioned before). |
