Saw my first gold spammer trying to sell gold yesterday.  The sad thing is, I wanted to talk to him because he was the only person saying anything the whole day.

all my messages have been for both WAR and WoW gold.  $15 for 10 gold in WAR? it went down to $13 the next day.  would anyone really pay that much?

They do early... Prices will fall and youll get a lot of more spamms soon.

 You would think by now that game developers would put certian chat word and phrases into a anti-spammer system...im all for not having a heavily filtered chat, but there is really no need for anyone to say "selling gold or buy gold or $59.99 for 1000 gold in any aspect of any game, unless gold selling was allowed. If those were detected then they would simply not post to the chat channel...i mean in WoW the major gold sellgin websites use the Exact same spam message for weeks on end....there is already a language filter in place, and tons of people report these players for spam...so put the two systems together, if a specific phrase gets reported enough for spam then it should be blocked.  sure sellers would keep changing there spam messages, but suddenly if after they post it once and 20 people report it and it has one of the Key words in it, then that message gets blacklisted...it wil lsuddenly be a lot more work intensive to spam.

also if your name is spelt Hkdioyex or Fxxxdfidfgjx...that should be a give away for a name filter to be like...NOT.

Do what I do:

Look up the domain they're advertising up on whois.net and sign up the owner's email address for every spam list you can find. They spam you, spam them back.
