I got the CE this weekend and it says on the back of the box that you get 12 extra quests, a book that once read gives extra xp, 12 custom heads for xter cusomisation, 12 in other in-game items etc.

I would like to know:-

  1. How to access the in-game items.
  2. How to identify and find the extra quests.
  3. How to identify what heads are unquie to the CE in the xtra customisation (what exactly is meant by 'heads' as you can change faces hair, hair colour in the xter customisation but not the heads!)

Is there possible a website where this detail is listed?

Thanks,

Aka

All I know, is your CE items are in the mailbox. So, just walk up to a mailbox and pull em out. And there are only 1 head per race per gender. And it's just the head, you keep most of your details, but it just adds some. The ork get's a metal eye patch, and the female dark elf get a mark of khaine on their face. But that's all I know. And you can only use the custom head in game iirc. And you can put it on by going to a vendor, going to dye, and in the bottom right corner, there is a spot for the head.

The quests you will have to start manually. They are in your inventory in the quests section and you will have to right click on them to bring up the quest window to accept.

Yeah, the male dwarf gets a keg of ale in his beard... odd..

The heads get popped in by talking to a merchant and clicking the dye option... then drag and drop.

Be warned that if you are bumped up in levels by doing the battlegrounds, you go back to your default head.

You take the head to a dye merchant and put it in the special slot.  You can look to see what our toon would look like then hit apply or cancel.  You can only apply the head one time per every toon you ever make, after that the item disappears.   You can not change your head back.

The 12 quests are 2 per race btw so you don't get them all unless you make a toon of each race.  The items are mostly aestethic customizations but its still cool to have titles & a dwarf head (greenskins) that other people wont have.

No, this is not correct.

You can add and remove the head at will and it does not disappear.  It stays in your inventory.

thats funny I used my head and it disappeared or maybe I was just imagining that.  You can't Take it Off once you use it.  That doesn't make sense you can just change your head anytime you want as many times as you want.  Hell im pretty sure they stated this weeks ago that its a 1 time use item PER character.

IF you simply preview it in the DyE window then you can put it on and remove it without losing the item but actually hitting apply makes it permenant.

I have three different toons that I've applied the CE head to, none of them have the item in their inventory anymore.  Further, If I go to a merchant and choose the dye option the custom head item also doesn't show up there anymore either.  It's almost like it got consumed.
