WAR (Warhammer Online)

I have read a number of posts claiming WAR looks like WoW. Some use that as the reason they do not play WAR. I have also read posts saying WoW looks better then WAR. Here is a screen of dwarves from both games. Both shots were at 1920 x 1080 rez. That is my game play rez. these are game play shots. Both shots are with game graphics set to highest level. You make up your own mind but they sure do not look the same to me.

Wow has more of a cartoonly character look while warhammer has more of an artistic detailed look.

You should compare a picture of a night elf with a picture of a swordmaster, if you want to compare which looks cartoony and goofy and which looks artistic.

or compare a bright wizard with a mage

but i think that comparing dwarves to dwarves and orcs to orcs are going to look similair (not the same but similair)

Warhammer's graphics look more similar to LOTRO than to WoW's.

But who cares? It's the gameplay itself that makes a game, not fancy graphics which make a computer lag.

I agree WAR is kinda in between LOTRO and WoW.

I do not get lag in WoW, WAR, or LoTRO. They all run very well on my system with maxed or near maxed graphic. Oh yea, I care. If I am going to pay 50 bucks and a monthly fee on average of 15 bucks. I want and expect good gameplay, good graphic, and good performance. As customers we should accept no less.

Look the same to me, they're both bearded and short. 

Only so many way you can draw an elf or a dwarf... Are people that surprised to see a short bearded character?

Seriously... they are similar only in the respect that they contain the same fantasy creatures...

Just as long as I don't see a sodding hobbit we'll be ok. ;)

WoW is more for the children that like there armour Rainbow colors, or for the Gay crowed that likes to dress in 30 diffrent colors, WAR is more aimed at realistic colors and is alot darker.

Yes I have played both, and both have there place in the MMO world
