I need more details on the housing system, in Ultima Online I was a huge fan of the housing system, owning my own house and making furniture and stuff for it was my fave thing.

I am really looking forward to seeing the housing system in action, if its a good system, I will get this game, otherwise I wont.

I'm not sure DF has actual player housing, this might be one of the things that's been hyped into existence in people's minds. 

I would love it to be in the game but I'm not sure it is.

Players will be able to set up houses of various sizes and design, ranging from small cottages to huge castles and citadels.

Can I design my own house?

The only real info at the moment is that Houses will be available but only on plots controlled within Clan Stone areas, And these can only be used by the authority of the city owners.

So this wont be a UO littered landscape (thanks GOD!)

Hmm, I'm not so sure about that, can you link? I know that guild city plots are controlled but I don't remember reading anything about single houses.

Not possible to get any details at this point, don't even know if housing will be in the game at release, there is a very good chance it won't.

Pretty much have to wait until we see what we get in beta, whenever that starts.

The FAQ that states it is very old information, and even states "more info to come", and that info has not come, even in the "comprehensive" video. Considering we're down to supposedly three months to full release, and the game is (according to some accounts) feature complete, I think it's a safe bet that POH's are either not in the game, or if they are, in a very limited way.

 The question isn't weather or not Player Housing is in! The real question is "what are the limitations?" 

 for instance :

1. Where can i place my house(s) anywhere or only in "plotted" land

2. Can i have more then one? i always wanted a summer home ;)

Things of that sort matter more then if its in or not. i'd rather not have a house if i cant just run it the way i want!
