nope its not the typical darkfall community, it is the typical gamer community in general, it seems if you are not playing wow, or played mmo's before wow, you are able to see that the game has influenced virtually every developer to make watered down easy poo games to try to get the wow customers, time for a change, something with penalties where dieing means something and the game will be challenging and not dependant on endless dungeon raids to get gear, and endless lame quests that are meaningless. Something that will be challenging, fun and hard and will not make it an easy game to try to cater to everyone, I do not think that darkfall is going after mass customers on this game, but going for a game ceartain people will like, and good for them, im tired of mmo's being so widespread that try to cater to everyone and really only make part of each style that caters to no one, give me full pvp, looting for me and people like me, I would say the only thing that is like this now is eve, but i really dont like eve, got burnt out on its boringness, darkfall may be my answer. |

quit taking reasons to pvp away your carebear. this feature is a big part of what the game's for and obviously you can't handle it.
the joy of looting someone's ship = good changing this game's loot feature = bad |

You think full looting will be so great. But replacing 28 pieces of gear every time you die will be tedious at best, and possibly a gamebreaker.

gear will fall all over the place from mobs and is not the pinnacle of the gameplay, it will be at best to sell to money to a merchant, the gameplay is not dependant of gear, the full looting will be more or less a thing to do to teach someone a lesson to mess with ya when ya kill em, and they are humiliated getting up naked and beat, |

Well we have some other 2000 games that don't have full loot, do you think that making it 2001 (with Darkfall), will benefit the game? |

Wrong, I won't believe one word from the developers mouth commenting that gear won't play a big role in pvp. Funcom developers said the same exact thing, Mystic - Warhammer said the exact thing and I was pwning everyone in that game because I had ubber game by my side. If you gemmed out a warrior then you're invisible, and tier 1 I rolled nubs with level 10 gear. I heard Darkfall will have gemming sockets hmm coincidence? Of course the skill system will play an even bigger role. When you've obtain that pwnage plate set of dragonslaying along with those 100+ skills, you're going to be a mean motherfucker that'll ass rape everyone and will eventually become an asshole griefer that would steal anyone's shit regardless.
Until ofcourse someone else with 100+ skills and plate of demonslaying fights and kills you, or you get jumped by 4-5 guys with lesser equipment or you lag out and get killed. And then you will lose all that equipment that you fought so hard to get. I repeat: Full looting wont work for the majority of people and for those that stick around anyway PvP battles in nice gear wont happen unless the one fighting in it knows that he will win leading to onesided battles where one side always run if they are even slightly outnumbered (like Eve). |

It's really not rocket science peeps, if you don't want any consequences for dying, play another game. Some gamers like myself have been around since the beginning of it all and started off with UO and loved it, in fact the only game that has come close to how great that game was is pre-cu SWG. If you don't want to lose your stuff, play WoW or WAR. If you want a challenge and heart-pounding action because there are consequences to death, then give Darkfall a go. It's really that simple. |

No its not that simple. This game is supposed to have a great crafting system, City bulding, ship battles, great PVE, great pvp. Its not just about full looting And there may not be enough people who want full looting to keep this game running.
