Is this a common problem? Whem I click the warhammer online start icon I get the following window: "The patch client was unable to retrive the file [patcher-goa.prod.sig] from the patch server. Please try the patch operation again in a short while." When I click on the war.exe and start the game I got : "Authentication failed- application will now terminate" I have open the ports for my firewal and tried with no firewall but no luck. and reinstalled the game. The Pachserver are up.

Sorry I can't help you with your error. I'm playing with a 6600 AGP and it's sorta sucking atm. I'd like to know if it be worth it getting a better GFX card. (basically my only option)

I sometimes get this as well, to get around this all I had to do was a full scan and then it worked.
Hope it helps. |

Just had the same problem. Full scan didn't fix it, however I just kept trying and got in eventually. It might be something to do with how busy the servers are.

I had that error, the files you need to worry about:
a] patch.cfg b] warpatcher.exe
Make sure your client is not a US version of the BETA or US Retail [both is downloadable from various sites], you won't be able to login with them with a EU key. Your patch.cfg should look like this: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ <PatchConfig>
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you see anything in your patch.cfg related to "warhammer-beta.prod" etc, then you should try to get a new warpatcher.exe and patch.cfg [yes both] or the EU retail client (from a EU player that's getting in). I've had endless issues because i had the US Open Beta client , while i'm a EU retail player.

I did uninstalled windows xp servicepack 3 but still same problem. However, the good thing is my pc are more stable and my programs working normal without sp3 ;) Anyway, thank you guys for the replies.

Alot off ppl have misstyped registration. I did it myself, there is some figures which looks very mch alike, G and 6 for example. The thing is, u dont get a "Wrong Registration" warning after you executed it. It looks like everything is a-ok, but u cant start the patcher. Then when you open your email u suddenly find a mail, telling you that u need to re-register. So -tldr, check mail... If that didnt do it then check :\Warhammer Online - Age of Reckoning\logs and open the debug log. Copy paste it and mail it to Mythic...

I got the mail: "Your Code has been correctly registered. It also gives you access to the following components which have been activated: Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning The WAR Team" So the last option I will do is to send them the debug log.
