who would want to work on the nge anyway. what $OE needs to do is hire koster and the old devs back and give us back our pre-cu system. |

Wow they have 10? Would've thought that they had one or two part timers that were still in JC the way that game has gone :P |

That means they cut the dev team in half since last year (when they announced they had 20 people on the team). I have to assume it also means the developers can now address player concerns twice as fast, since the team is now twice as agile as they were last year (when the small number of dev team members was claimed to be a good thing because it meant they were better able to quickly respond to player concerns). Where SWG is concerned, the more SOE and LEC cut costs, it is somehow a magical thing that means things are getting better. I know this because the folks at SOE have said so...

Imo Koster is way too smart, and way too ethical to ever work for Smed again. Remember he left partly because of the NGE scam, and he has been openly critical as what he has referred to as totalitarian moderation of discussion forums. He saw what SWG was becoming under Smed's watch, and left with his ethics and dignity intact, and I applaud him for taking this stand. He has more recently weighed in on the whole virtual property issue, lending his voice to support consumer rights. Way to go Raph. Here's a guy who sees what's going down, calls it as he sees it, takes action, and even remains respectful of those he disagrees with. Truly a class act. |

If you know Koster enough, you'd know he wouldn't even touch the NGE with a 109 mile pole. |

Ladies and Gents, this is exactly where SOE got their last batch of devs. Now they need to push Blix overboard and see what a talented rookie in his position is capable of. Seriously, how much worse could it get? |

SOE has always said they want to keep a 1:100 Dev to player ratio. JK, but it wouldn't surprise me if that is all they have left. I mean look at how long the NGE has been out, and it still is in a beta state. |
