What's wrong with Tabula Rasa:

1. Tiny ass maps;

2. Heavy instancing;

3. Shit PvP;

4. Lack of absolutely any crafting at all;

5. Absolutely no end game content or even shitty high level repeatable content (there is just NOTHING);

6. No vehicles; and

7. Craptacular combat range (yeah, them futuristic rifles with a 60 meter range, the range of a pistol in RL).

That's just what I could think of in fifteen seconds.  Give me ten minutes and I can give you a damn long list.

The major ones:

No content

They could have gotten away with the instancing, the combat was good enough, the crafting has never made or broken an MMO, the maps were okay, and the vehicles could have been added later.

There was just NOTHING.  It felt like they had an engine alright, and some content for the early levels, but they were a minimum of 12 months from release when they ACTUALLY released it.

This game was horrible i played it for a week then cancelled and never wanted to return. And i never will return.

Im just going to wait for a real MMO by a real company, 99% of these mmo's I cant even touch them. Cant wait for Star Wars Kotor. That's the only one that will be good in the next 3 years. IMHO

Quests; the stupid, boring quest-concept should never been applied to TR. That's what's wrong with it.

From the things people are posting it is obvious you are not up on the state of the game, what has been added, etc. A lot of the things posted here are simply no longer true. Some of the things are opinions and are totally subjective, so I am not trying to dispute those.

For example, there is not only crafting, they did a huge overhaul 2 weeks ago. It is viable and a big part of the economy now. Everyone engages in it. It is simple but USEFUL (imagine that).

It isn't that I don't understand where some of you are coming from. I could not STAND this game in beta.  I really could not stomach it at launch. Even when I hopped in a few months  later I loathed it. I gave it one of the worst reviews I've given any game. Due to the lack of decent MMOs, I went back recently to check out how TR was coming along.

I was pleasantly surprised by what I found. I have played about 3 months total over the last 4 months and I have gotten some decent, enjoyable play out of it. I am quite cynical when it comes to MMOs, but this game (in its current  form) will actually grow on you (in a good way) .

There really is a lot of new stuff going on with the game. Earth is being unlocked, mechs are being added for pve and pvp...crap, there really is too much that has been added/is being added to list  here.  As previously mentioned, crafting was entirely redone.

 I would have agreed with every post here 6 + months ago. The game really isn' t that bad. It's fun in groups but you can solo as well. 

I am a skeptical gamer who is completely burnt on the garbage that is shoveled out these days. The bottom line is that TR isn't as bad as people make it out to be, especially now...and  particularly when contrasted with all of the digital diarrhea developers shovel onto the public these days.

I give TR a 7.8 out of 10, overall. It won't keep you interested for a year or anything but it is certainly good enough for some fun times...you can get the game  for like 4.99 on Amazon now. Hahah. You can check out a 7 day trial and you don't even have to give a credit card. www.rgtr.com.

Not trying to promote the game, but I would be interested to see what some of you think if you gave it a fair shake again...although I understand if you are gun shy. I really disliked it at one time, too.

TR is great,

The open world is just fine, good size, attacking CP's are alot of fun, challenging at times too.

The patches coming in the next month are going to be amazing! D14 and D15

The new Series Weapons and Armor are sweet. Tear 1/2/3 Sets, make for great end content.

The pvp is fast pace, Oh and the game isnt fantasy so im good

If you dont like the game then dont come on the forum and whine about it.
