Imagine beta testing the star gate itself. What happens if there is a fault?

I believe they wait untill all the winners have confirmed their key(Aka everyone has to wait for all the redraws and confirmations to be done) and then once thats finished, then they'll either send all the names/email addresses to the company and theyll send the beta keys to us or send the codes directly from mmorpg.com if they have the keys in their posession. |

I've won a few betas on this site and it's always the same. They will finish all confirmations first. Then CME will email us our codes when they are ready. It's been over a month before, and as little as a couple weeks before.
From here, MMORPG is kind of out of the picture and the company will send us the codes. When CME is ready for testers, they will call up the winner sheet and send a mass email.
That's been the pattern for me in the past, no doubt it will be the same for us this time.

Winners have 24 hours to claim their prize, then they do randon redraw for unclaimed spots.

All you have to do ia look at the contest and see if its all "confirmed", if none say pending, then no.

Yeah I am hoping to get one of the redraw tickets, since I currently am not playing any MMO's, since none that are out interest me much. Though I think chances are I wont be getting one unless I luck out and get one from SGW themselves at this point.

I have to wonder how so many people apply and win these things then don't confirm. Surely if you took the time to log in and apply for the contest you can take the time to check if you won. Just seems kind of stupid to me, if you aren't that bothered, give someone else who actually cares a chance. I understand some of them might not be able to get to the internet for whatever reason, but the number pending is usually rather high. |
