Now I know why you don't have a forum or better support channels ...

it's because you never respond to e-mails and know you completely screwed up your launch.

WTG. On November 13, people likely will have forgotten all about Warhammer ... because your customer service SUCKS!!!

I have been playing fine. Server and client rock solid, no game breaking bugs, very few bugs I have noticed.

So I have no idea what you are talking about. Perhaps you would care to expand your rant?

Yeah, this seems like the most efficient way to get someone's attention with an issue.

Seriously, I don't know what your issue was, but I'm going out on a limb and say that they probably have a swamped support staff right now that's pretty busy and might take slightly longer than usual to reply to issues.

As to "completely screwing up their launch", I'm gonna guess that might be a slight exaggeration on your part as there are a large number of people playing happily. While I sympathise with the fact that you are having issues, and would like them resolved, I think that this might not be exactly the best way to handle your frustrations.

I laugh when I see these threads..why do you bother with emails?  They probably get thousands and thousands of emails...they have a 800 Support Number..call it..use it..love it.  Talk to a real human that can respond back to you immediately instead of when they randomly find your email.

Call 800 support, but it's not 24 hour support and they have silly hours, that pretty much don't jive with the working hours of those on the West Coast.

Their online support system requires I enter my game account username, which is impossible, since I don't have one (while I do, but it's inactive due to lack of Gamestop sending me a working Head Start ID and than Gamestop not sending me my game for launch delivery -- that I had been promised on order).

They may be busy, but their support system says I would hear a response within 72 hours. It has been over 100 hours since I first send them a message, even before the Head Start servers went live.

Yeah, my account says "inactive" yet it shows that I have the Game Stop bonus items attached to it. It should say Head Start, but doesn't. And, I should have my game box, but I don't.

At the very least, I should be able to e-mail or fax EA Mythic my invoice for the game or shipping confirmation data. All I want is the ability to access the game ...

Gamestop won't issue me a refund, since they said it was shipped already.

Reason I said "horrible launch" is that I had a smooth transition between the AoC Beta and release. I had a smooth transition between LOTRO Beta and Release. I had a smooth transition between DDO Beta and Release. And, the WoW BC expansion launch was smooth as silk. Now, on the launch of what is one of the biggest MMO releases in years and I'm locked out  --

-- Having not received a working Head Start code

-- Shipping confirmation from Gamestop, but no knowledge of the game actually shipping (the tracking number does not even show the game as being shipped), where it shipped from, or even when it will arrive (if it will arrive).

All I can say is that I had to petition a GM last evening in game, during prime time.  I got a response in under 5 minutes.

Never had such fast support before, in any game.

“A lie told often enough becomes truth”

Your problem seems to be with gamestop and it is silly that you are calling Warhammers launch screwed up because you don't have your game yet and they havent helped you....

Gamestop says the codes come from EA Mythic and that I need to contact them to get this resolved. I sent them an e-mail last Friday or Saturday and have heard absolutely nothing back. To not reply to e-mails is something I consider highly rude and at the same level of not returning a phone call. This is 2008 and prompt responses to e-mails are expected nowadays.

And, it still is screwed up, because EA Mythic suggested ordering from Gamestop (amongst others of course) ... why suggest pre-ordering from a company that fails to properly fulfill a pre-order from six months ago?

Checked again and according to USPS, they DO NOT have the item in their system. In other words, Gamestop has lied to me, refuses to offer any assistance (insisting in e-mails that it is EA Mythic's fault).

Basically, what I'm asking is that EA Mythic take a look at my order, than fulfill at least part of it by setting me up with some sort of temporary key.
