this is just the problem, I played WAR for a long time now and I would only rate it as a 6 tops atm. And that is based on game functionality, customer support  and overall enjoyment of the game. But as soon as someone posts anything negative you get answers like you post here, you seem to think your "facts" overrides everyone elses facts. And what are these facts you talk about? its just a word until you put meaning to it. Is the fact that one of the Mythic guys drive a black care? sure, that is prolly true. But you need to open your eyes and understand your facts are not the same facts others have. This is the main issue with the fanboi community that builds up usually, they only see everything from their own narrow views.

WAR will be great, still far from it atm due to issues and so on, but i am sure it will be good.

Whether you think they are better than WoW or not is your opinion, but I think everyone can agree they aren't a 9. I would put AoC around a 9 for graphics. I would give WAR maybe a 7 for graphics.

You don't grade games based on each other, since crysis came out, does that mean every pc game needs to be as good as that, or they should get like 5-7s?  Why gears of war came out, and every 360 game has to be as good as it or better or they lose points?

The graphics are on par with WoW(possibly even worse)

This is obviously a troll statement.  Obvious to anyone who plays the game and has the settings on max. and has actually played wow.

Why do you feel the need to challenge people on their dislike of the game? I don't challenge you on your liking of the game.

WAR was NEVER stated to be this, so please take yourself and go back to one of the 20 million sandbox posts spamming every single forum, and enjoy.

I am the same mind as you when it concerns WAR. It`s an okay game made for kiddies who like to be lead to the end game with shiny prizes at the end. The game play is predictable at best and the overall feel give you that counter strike type pvp with a WOW mentality.

Let`s face it Mythic have done a good job in stealing a lot of WOW subs but this game is far from what DAOC was in any way shape or form. I am glad that the people whom are fed up with WOW can find another home in WAR but for me it`s DF that really gives us older PVP addicts hope.

Sandbox PVP has more going for it than the WAR/WOW type PVP . Anyone who says that this game is as good as DAOC is talking rubbish or has never played DAOC.

I think Mythic have made a good game if that`s what you are looking for but it will get boring real fast. WOTLK will take back a lot of the subs Mythic have taken off  them  but war will still have a good player base but for me it`s DarkfFall all the way.

Yes i have played WAR and it`s was a let down for me.

do NOT go to the swg section. some people aren't on a "crusade" to kill the game (never heard of bad opinions killing anything tbh) but lots of people were fans of the WAR universe and were hoping that this would be something special. not wow 2.0

               to me the OP isn't bashing WAR or WAR fans so much as bashing tired worn out game design documents. and lets face it. this spreadsheet has been around since eq and is very taterred.

also i would like to point out that if ea/mythic had the grapes to host official forums the hate wouldn't be spread all over the internets.

By all means you're allowed to not like it. Just don't spew out the same ridiculous arguments that a lot of WoW fans HAVE been saying despite having never played the game.

How am I a WAR troll? Actually haha this falls right into the original topic. I didn't like the game when I TRIED it and I am a troll for stating my opinion that I didn't like it, even though I didn't even say it explicitely in this thread.

However, your other two points are correct. I have no rage. I am enjoying Eve at the moment. I don't want people to "follow me like sheeple", but I am curious to find out why people like games that treat them like sheeple.
