Meh. It's ok, but not living up to the hype. I don't see the DMM system at all. I just see the usual before and after graphic, not the shards of splinters flying everywhere. I hit the trees in the Vader stage (you do play as Vader for level 1) at multiple angles and the damage happened all at the same spot, no matter where I hit the tree.

Sure, the gameplay is fun, but I was expecting more, much more. I am glad I rented instead of bought.

Cry Havok; and let loose the dogs of war.

Acta Non Verba

Oh, and here i thought i was the only one who thought this game was one more too add to the overhyped pile.

And the story is really lame too, i actually lost interest in playing it. I guess the truth still holds, since jedi outcast 1 and 2, bioware is the only company that can make a good starwars game. What it comes down too is, i just believe the console couldnt handle all that indepth texturing and details of the DMM, Euphoria and the havok system. Perhpas this game shouldve found its way onto pc.

It's a real shame too, the game had tons of potential after the demo stage,

Looking forward to:
The Agency, DC Universe, Aion

I'm holding out for the inevitable PC version with added content and better graphics, same as I'm holdong out for GTA IV on PC before I buy it. But if the game is as bad as you guys say it is, it might be better to skip FU altogether.

Basically as the game is now you are looking at a polished Jedi Knight II. It's not bad, but not living up to the hype.

[Insert Tool lyrics]

I am still enjoying the game on my second play through, though I have to agree that the physics were not all that they were hyped up to be.

As for the story, I enjoyed it, though I think that they would have been able to do more with it if they had decided to make the game non canonical...because the game's story is to be considered canon, it suffers from a lack of and real choices that you can make in the game....you can attack either Vader or the Emperor at the end of the game, I chose to attack Vader, of course though, you can't KILL Vader, you can only jack him up really badly...so the outcome is ultimately the same....I'll do the other choice on this play through though, we'll see how much it really changes.

There's something kinda sad about the way that things have come to be, desensitized to everything, what became of subtlety?

See, canonically, that makes no sense due to the rule of two. If you are able to defeat Vader, you would logically take his place at the Emporers' side. Granted I haven't played it, but I don't see how they can work that one out.

Lucas is slowly loosing chucks of his brain and mind each and every year. Pretty soon he will have games where you can kill Vader but come up with a plausable story why Vader still exists in the movies. (Oh noess!! You killed Vader in Alternate Dimension X!! You get the mushroom Princess. Thanks for buying my game. Retard).

Its amazing to see Lucas turn into the very thing he was so adamantly against 30 years ago.
